Featuring ILAG CeramicTech, it ensures a 100% toxin-free cooking experience. Please read this manual thoroughly before first use to ensure safe and optimal performance.

Important Safety Instructions

When using electrical appliances, basic safety precautions should always be followed to reduce the risk of fire, electric shock, and injury.

  • Read all instructions: Familiarize yourself with the appliance's functions and safety warnings before operation.
  • Electrical Safety: Ensure the voltage indicated on the appliance matches your local power supply. Do not immerse the cord, plug, or appliance in water or other liquids.
  • Hot Surfaces: The air fryer generates heat and steam during use. Do not touch hot surfaces. Always use oven mitts or a cloth when handling hot components.

Setup and First Use

  1. Unpack: Carefully remove all packaging materials, stickers, and labels from the air fryer.
  2. Clean Components: Wash the basket and cooking tray with hot water, dish soap, and a non-abrasive sponge. Rinse thoroughly and dry completely. The main unit can be wiped with a damp cloth. Note: The basket and cooking tray are NOT dishwasher safe.
  3. Placement: Place the air fryer on a stable, level, and heat-resistant surface. Ensure there is at least 10 cm (4 inches) of free space around the back and sides of the appliance for proper ventilation.
  4. First Use (Burn-in): For the first use, it is recommended to run the air fryer empty for about 10-15 minutes at 180°C (350°F) to eliminate any manufacturing odors. A slight odor or smoke may be present, which is normal. Ensure the area is well-ventilated.
  5. Power Connection: Plug the power cord into a grounded electrical outlet.

Operating Instructions

The NUUK BRISK Air Fryer features a digital touch display for easy operation. It includes 12 cooking presets and 4 additional functions.

Basic Operation

  1. Prepare Food: Place your ingredients in the air fryer basket. Do not overfill the basket to ensure even cooking.
  2. Insert Basket: Slide the basket firmly into the air fryer unit.
  3. Power On: Press the power button to turn on the appliance.
  4. Select Preset or Manual Mode:
    • Presets: Choose from 12 pre-programmed settings, including 4 unique Indian modes (Samosas, Kebabs, Roti, Tikkas). Select the desired preset by tapping its icon. The air fryer will automatically set the optimal time and temperature.
    • Manual Mode: To set time and temperature manually, use the temperature and time adjustment buttons.
  5. Adjust Settings (if needed): Use the temperature (up/down arrows) and time (up/down arrows) buttons to adjust settings.
  6. Start Cooking: Press the start/pause button to begin the cooking cycle.
  7. Shake Reminder: For some recipes, the air fryer may beep to remind you to shake the basket for even cooking. Carefully remove the basket, shake the contents, and reinsert it. Cooking will resume automatically.
  8. Completion: The air fryer will beep when the cooking cycle is complete. Carefully pull out the basket and transfer the food to a serving dish.

Maintenance and Cleaning

Regular cleaning of your NUUK BRISK Air Fryer will ensure its longevity and optimal performance.

  1. Unplug and Cool: Always unplug the air fryer and allow it to cool completely before cleaning.
  2. Clean Basket and Cooking Tray:
    • Wash the basket and cooking tray with hot water, dish soap, and a non-abrasive sponge.
    • For stubborn food residues, soak the basket in hot soapy water for about 10 minutes before cleaning.
    • Important: These components are NOT dishwasher safe. Hand wash only.
    • Ensure they are completely dry before reassembling or storing.
  3. Clean Interior: Wipe the interior of the appliance with a damp cloth. For stubborn residue, use a mild detergent. Avoid abrasive cleaners or metal scouring pads.
  4. Clean Exterior: Wipe the exterior with a damp cloth. Do not use harsh chemicals or abrasive materials.
