5. Setup

Follow these steps to set up your spot welder:

  1. Place the spot welder on a stable, non-flammable surface.
  2. Connect the fast charging adapter to the welder and a suitable power outlet (100-240V).
  3. Insert the spot welding pens into the Spot Welding Pen Interface (4). Ensure a secure connection.
  4. If using the foot pedal mode, connect the foot pedal to the Foot Pedal Connection Port (5).
  5. Press the Power On/Off Button (1) to turn on the device. The 2.4-inch LCD Display (6) will illuminate.

6. Operating Modes

The P60F offers two welding modes: Automatic Trigger (AT) and Pedal Trigger (MT).

6.1. Automatic Trigger (AT) Mode

In AT Mode, the welder automatically detects contact with the workpiece and initiates the weld. This mode is suitable for quick and repetitive tasks.

6.2. Pedal Trigger (MT) Mode

In MT Mode, welding is initiated by pressing the foot pedal. This provides independent and controllable welding, allowing for precise placement and timing.

Both modes support adjustable settings for Preheating, Interval, and Stitch Welding, which can be configured via the 2.4-inch LCD display.

7. Welding Parameters and Adjustment

The P60F allows for fine-tuning of welding parameters to achieve optimal results for various materials and thicknesses.

  • Welding Mode: Select between Manual (Pedal) or Auto mode.
  • Gear: Adjust power level from 001 to 999 for fine adjustment.
  • Preheat: Set preheating time from 1 to 10ms.
  • Trigger Time: Adjust the welding trigger duration from 0.5 to 5.0s.
  • Intermittent: Set intermittent welding time from 1 to 20ms.
  • Connecting Point: Adjust the number of connecting points from 1 to 3.

The P60F is capable of welding materials such as Nickel-plated steel up to 1.0mm, Pure nickel up to 0.5mm, and Copper up to 0.3mm.
