Maintenance

Regular maintenance ensures the longevity and safe operation of your gas log set.

  • Annual Inspection: Have the appliance inspected annually by a qualified service technician.
  • Cleaning Logs: Periodically, gently brush the ceramic logs to remove any dust or soot. Handle logs carefully as they are fragile. Do not use liquid cleaners.
  • Pilot and Burner Cleaning: Keep the pilot and burner ports clean. Dust and debris can obstruct gas flow and affect ignition or flame quality. Use a soft brush or compressed air.
  • ODS Sensor: Ensure the Oxygen Depletion Sensor (ODS) is free from dust and obstructions. Do not attempt to clean the ODS sensor with liquids or abrasive materials.
  • Battery Replacement: Replace the AAA battery for the Piezo ignitor annually or when ignition becomes unreliable.
