Setup

  1. Unpack: Carefully remove all components from the packaging.
  2. Clean: Wash all detachable parts (juicing bowl, auger, filter, pulp/juice outlets, pusher) with warm soapy water. Rinse thoroughly and dry. The item is not dishwasher safe.
  3. Assemble:
    • Place the juicing bowl onto the motor base, ensuring it locks securely.
    • Insert the filter into the juicing bowl.
    • Insert the auger into the center of the filter.
    • Attach the feed chute assembly, twisting until it locks into place.
    • Position the juice collection cup under the juice outlet and the pulp collection cup under the pulp outlet.
  4. Power Connection: Plug the power cord into a suitable electrical outlet.

Operating Instructions

  1. Prepare Ingredients: Wash fruits and vegetables thoroughly. For the large 5.12-inch feed chute, most ingredients can be inserted whole or with minimal chopping. Remove large seeds, pits, and hard skins (e.g., pineapple skin, citrus peels).
  2. Start Juicer: Press the "ON" button on the motor base. The juicer will begin operating at a slow speed.
  3. Feed Ingredients: Slowly feed prepared ingredients into the feed chute. Use the pusher only if necessary to gently guide ingredients down. Do not force ingredients into the chute.
  4. Collect Juice and Pulp: Fresh juice will flow from the juice outlet into the juice cup, and dry pulp will be expelled from the pulp outlet into the pulp cup.
  5. Continuous Operation: The juicer is designed for continuous operation, but it is recommended to give it a short break after 20-30 minutes of continuous use to prolong motor life.
  6. Stop Juicer: Once juicing is complete, press the "OFF" button.

Tips for Best Results:

  • Alternate between soft and hard ingredients for optimal juice extraction.
  • For leafy greens, roll them into a tight ball before feeding.
  • Juice immediately after preparation for maximum nutrient retention.

Maintenance and Cleaning

Regular cleaning ensures optimal performance and longevity of your juicer.

  1. Unplug: Always unplug the juicer from the power outlet before cleaning.
  2. Disassemble: Disassemble the juicer in reverse order of assembly.
  3. Rinse: Rinse all detachable parts under running water immediately after use to prevent pulp from drying and sticking.
  4. Wash: Use the provided cleaning brush and warm soapy water to thoroughly clean the filter, auger, juicing bowl, and feed chute. Pay special attention to the mesh of the filter.
  5. Motor Base: Wipe the motor base with a damp cloth. Never immerse the motor base in water.
  6. Dry: Dry all parts completely before reassembling or storing.
  7. Storage: Store the assembled juicer in a clean, dry place.

Note: The VCK Cold Press Juicer parts are not dishwasher safe. Hand washing is required.
