2. Product Overview

The Dienspeak DC23 is an ultra-portable mini camera designed for capturing 1080P HD video and photos. Its compact size and keychain design make it ideal for on-the-go recording. It features a 0.96-inch HD display, a built-in flash for low-light conditions, and supports expandable memory up to 128GB.

4. Setup

4.1 Charging the Battery

Before first use, fully charge the camera's internal 180mAh battery. A full charge provides approximately 80+ minutes of continuous recording.

1. Connect the provided Type-C USB cable to the camera's charging port.
2. Connect the other end of the cable to a USB power adapter (not included) or a computer's USB port.
3. The charging indicator light will illuminate. It will turn off or change color once charging is complete.
4. The camera supports simultaneous recording and charging, allowing for extended use during events.

4.2 Inserting the Memory Card

The camera comes with a 64GB microSD card. It supports cards up to 128GB for increased storage capacity.

1. Locate the microSD card slot on the side of the camera.
2. Gently insert the microSD card into the slot with the gold contacts facing down until it clicks into place.
3. To remove the card, push it in gently until it springs out.

4.3 Attaching Accessories

Attach the included keychain or wrist strap for portability and to prevent loss.

1. Thread the loop of the wrist strap or keychain through the designated attachment point on the camera body.
2. Secure the strap or keychain as desired.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1 Powering On/Off

• To power on: Press and hold the Power button for a few seconds until the screen illuminates.
• To power off: Press and hold the Power button again until the screen turns off.

5.2 Taking Photos

The camera captures still images with a 5MP photo sensor resolution and 16MP effective still resolution.

1. Ensure the camera is powered on and in photo mode (indicated on the 0.96" display).
2. Frame your shot using the display.
3. Press the Shutter button to take a photo. The built-in flash will activate automatically in low-light conditions.

5.3 Recording Videos

Record crisp 1080P HD videos at 30 or 60 frames per second.

1. Switch the camera to video recording mode.
2. Press the Record button to start recording. A timer or indicator will appear on the screen.
3. Press the Record button again to stop recording.

5.4 Viewing Playback

You can review your captured photos and videos directly on the camera's 0.96-inch display.

1. Enter playback mode using the mode button (if available) or navigation controls.
2. Use the navigation buttons to scroll through your media files.
3. Press the OK/Shutter button to view a photo or play a video.

5.5 Transferring Files to a Computer

To transfer your photos and videos, connect the camera to a computer using the Type-C USB cable.

1. Ensure the camera is powered off.
2. Connect the camera to your computer using the Type-C USB cable.
3. The camera will appear as a removable disk drive on your computer.
4. Open the drive to access and copy your files (JPEG for photos, AVI for videos).
5. Safely eject the removable disk before disconnecting the cable.

• Cleaning: Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the camera body. For the lens, use a specialized lens cleaning cloth. Do not use liquid cleaners.
• Storage: When not in use, store the camera in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
• Battery Care: To prolong battery life, avoid fully discharging the battery frequently. Charge it regularly, even if not in use for extended periods.
• Memory Card: Periodically back up your files from the microSD card to a computer or other storage device. Format the card in the camera occasionally to maintain performance.
