1. Introduction

This manual provides essential information for the safe and efficient operation, maintenance, and care of your JUSTHERO Electric Wheelchair. Please read it thoroughly before initial use to ensure proper assembly, function, and safety. This foldable, lightweight electric wheelchair is designed for adults, offering a travel range of up to 15 miles and supporting up to 350 lbs.

2. Safety Information

• Always ensure the wheelchair is fully charged before extended use.
• Do not operate the wheelchair under the influence of alcohol or medication that impairs judgment.
• Always engage the auto-brake when stationary to prevent unintended movement.
• Consult a healthcare professional to determine suitability of use for individual health conditions.

3. Setup

3.1 Unboxing and Initial Assembly

Carefully remove all components from the packaging. The wheelchair comes largely pre-assembled, requiring minimal setup.

1. Unfold the Wheelchair: Gently unfold the electric wheelchair until it locks into place. Ensure all locking mechanisms are securely engaged.
2. Install the Battery: Locate the battery storage bag under the seat. Remove the 12Ah lithium battery from the bag and install it onto the bracket under the seat. Connect the power cord to the battery.
3. Attach the Controller: Unscrew the pre-attached locking knob from the armrest. Mount the controller onto the armrest. Connect the controller to its corresponding cable, ensuring the positioning stopper in the connector is correctly aligned and installed.

3.2 Controller Left/Right Installation

The controller can be installed on either the left or right armrest to accommodate user preference.

1. Remove Controller: Unscrew the locking knob and disconnect the cable to remove the controller from its current armrest.
2. Route Cable: Open the backrest cover and route the controller cable to the desired side.
3. Install Controller: Mount the controller onto the new armrest and securely connect the cable, ensuring proper alignment.

The 360° joystick provides precise control over movement. The controller also features a battery display, speed display, power switch, light switches, an alarm horn, and convenient USB/Type-C charging ports.

4.2 Manual/Auto Brake Switching

The wheelchair features an intelligent brake system. When powered on, the auto-brake is engaged, preventing manual movement. When powered off, the auto-brake is released, allowing the wheelchair to be pushed manually.

6. Charging

The 12Ah lithium battery fully charges in 3-4 hours. There are two methods for charging your JUSTHERO Electric Wheelchair.

1. Charging via Controller: Connect the charger directly to the charging port on the joystick controller. The indicator light on the charger will turn red when charging and green when fully charged.
2. Charging Removed Battery: The battery can be easily removed from its bracket under the seat. Connect the charger directly to the battery's charging port. The indicator light on the charger will turn red when charging and green when fully charged.

7. Maintenance

• Cleaning: Wipe down the frame and seat with a damp cloth. Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners.
• Battery Care: Store the battery in a cool, dry place. If not in use for an extended period, charge the battery at least once every three months to maintain its lifespan.
• Tire Inspection: Periodically check the honeycomb tires for any signs of wear or damage. While puncture-resistant, extreme impacts can still affect them.
• Brake Check: Ensure the auto-brake system engages and disengages correctly. Test the manual brakes for responsiveness.
• General Inspection: Regularly check all nuts, bolts, and connections to ensure they are secure.

• Wheelchair Not Moving: Check if the power is on and the auto-brake is disengaged. Ensure the battery is properly connected and charged.
