2. Safety Information

4. Product Overview

The LAMA 8K Video Camera features a 3.0-inch touch screen, an external microphone input, HDMI output, and a USB-C port for versatile connectivity. Its compact design makes it suitable for various recording scenarios.

5. Setup

5.1 Battery Installation and Charging

  1. Open the battery compartment cover.
  2. Insert the 4500mAh rechargeable lithium-ion battery, ensuring correct polarity.
  3. Close the battery compartment cover.
  4. Connect the camera to a power source using the provided USB-C cable for charging. The camera can be used while charging.

5.2 SD Card Installation

  1. Locate the SD card slot.
  2. Insert the included 64GB SD card (or a compatible card up to 256GB) into the slot until it clicks into place. Ensure the card is inserted in the correct orientation.
  3. To remove, gently press the SD card to release it.

5.3 External Microphone Connection

Connect the external microphone to the designated microphone input port on the camera for enhanced audio recording. This helps effectively suppress noise, making it suitable for meetings, interviews, and lectures.

6. Operating Instructions

6.1 Power On/Off

Press and hold the power button to turn the camera on or off.

6.2 Basic Recording

Once powered on, the camera is ready to record 8K video or capture 64MP photos. Use the 3.0-inch touch screen for intuitive operation.

6.3 270-Degree Rotatable Screen

The screen can be rotated 270 degrees, allowing for easy self-recording and vlogging.

6.4 Remote Control Operation

The included 2.4G remote control supports 360-degree remote operation, allowing you to take photos, record videos, and control playback from up to 10 meters away. This is useful for self-portraits or group shots.

6.5 WiFi Functionality

Utilize the WiFi function to connect the camera to your smartphone or tablet. This allows for video transfer, remote control of the camera, and real-time image preview. The operation is straightforward.

6.6 Webcam Function

Connect the camera to your computer via the Type-C cable to use it as a webcam. This feature is ideal for live streaming on platforms like Facebook, YouTube, and Instagram, or for video calls with family and friends.

6.7 HDMI Output

Connect the camera to a TV or projector using an HDMI cable (Type-C cable included supports data transfer and HDMI output) to enjoy your 8K videos and photos on a larger screen. Set the TV's input to HDMI to display the camera's output.

7. Advanced Features

7.1 Loop Recording

When loop recording is enabled, the camera will automatically overwrite the oldest footage when the SD card becomes full, ensuring continuous recording without manual intervention.

7.2 Time-Lapse and Slow Motion

The camera supports time-lapse and slow-motion recording modes, allowing for creative video capture.

7.3 Pause Function

During video recording, press the record button once to pause and again to resume. This allows you to capture only the necessary shots.

7.4 Automatic and Continuous Shooting

The camera offers automatic photo shooting and continuous shooting modes to capture sequences of images.

7.5 Timed Photo Shooting

Set a timer for 3, 5, 10, or 20 seconds before a photo is taken, allowing you to get into position for group photos or self-portraits.

7.6 Infrared Night Vision LED

The camera is equipped with an infrared night vision LED, enhancing visibility in dark or low-light environments.

8. Maintenance

  • Cleaning the Lens and Screen: Use the provided cleaning cloth or a soft, lint-free cloth to gently wipe the lens and screen. Avoid abrasive materials or harsh chemicals.
  • Storage: Store the camera in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures. When not in use for extended periods, remove the battery.
  • Battery Care: Fully charge the battery before first use. Avoid completely draining the battery frequently to prolong its lifespan.

9. Troubleshooting
