3.2 SD Card Insertion
- Ensure the dash cam is powered off.
- Locate the SD card slot on the side of the main dash cam unit.
- Insert the provided 64GB SD card (or another compatible card up to 256GB) into the slot with the gold contacts facing the front of the camera, until it clicks into place.
- To remove, gently push the card in until it springs out.
3.3 Mounting the Dash Cam
- Clean the chosen area on your windshield thoroughly.
- Attach the suction cup mount to the main dash cam unit.
- Press the suction cup firmly against the windshield and flip the lever to secure it. Position the camera to ensure a clear view of the road without obstructing your driving vision.
- For the rear camera, choose a suitable location on your rear window. Clean the area, attach the rear camera using its adhesive, and route the cable discreetly to the main unit.
3.4 Power Connection
- Connect the car charger to the dash cam's power input port.
- Plug the other end of the car charger into your vehicle's cigarette lighter socket.
- Route the power cable along the edge of the windshield and dashboard to keep it tidy and out of the way.
- The dash cam will typically power on automatically when your vehicle starts and power off when the engine is turned off.
4. Operating Instructions
4.1 Basic Recording
- Once powered on, the dash cam will automatically begin recording.
- The 3-inch IPS screen will display the live view from the cameras.
- Press the OK button to manually start or stop recording if needed.
4.2 Loop Recording
The dash cam features loop recording, which continuously records video in segments (e.g., 1, 3, or 5 minutes). When the SD card is full, the oldest unlocked files are automatically overwritten by new recordings. This ensures continuous recording without manual intervention.

4.3 G-Sensor (Collision Detection)
The built-in G-Sensor detects sudden movements or impacts. In the event of a collision, it automatically locks the current video segment, preventing it from being overwritten by loop recording. This ensures that critical accident footage is preserved.

4.4 Parking Monitoring
The dash cam supports 24-hour parking monitoring. When enabled, the camera will automatically activate and record if it detects a collision or motion while your vehicle is parked. Note: To utilize this feature for continuous monitoring, an optional "Type-C Hardwire Kit" is required (not included) to provide constant power to the dash cam.
4.5 Night Vision
Equipped with high-sensitivity sensors and infrared filters, the dash cam provides clear video recording even in low-light conditions, such as dark parking lots or during nighttime driving.

4.6 Wi-Fi Connectivity and App Control
The dash cam features built-in Wi-Fi, allowing you to connect it to your smartphone via a dedicated app for wireless video transfer, live view, and settings adjustments.
- Enable Wi-Fi on Dash Cam: Power on the dash cam. Hold the 'Up' button (often labeled with an arrow or similar icon) to enable Wi-Fi. The Wi-Fi name (SSID) and password will be displayed on the dash cam screen.
- Download the App: Scan the QR code provided in the physical user manual or search for "LuckyCam" in your smartphone's app store (App Store for iOS, Google Play Store for Android).
- Connect to Dash Cam Wi-Fi: Go to your phone's Wi-Fi settings, find the dash cam's Wi-Fi network (SSID), and connect using the password displayed on the dash cam screen.

5. Maintenance
5.1 SD Card Management
- Formatting the SD Card: It is recommended to format the SD card regularly (e.g., once a month) to ensure optimal performance and prevent data corruption. This can usually be done through the dash cam's settings menu. Formatting will erase all data on the card, so back up any important files first.
- Replacing the SD Card: If the SD card shows signs of wear or error messages, replace it with a new high-quality Class 10 (or higher) microSD card, supporting up to 256GB.
5.2 Cleaning the Device
- Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the dash cam's lens and screen. Avoid using abrasive cleaners or solvents.
- Ensure the windshield area where the camera is mounted is clean to maintain a strong suction grip and clear view.
