  • CD Door (Open/Close): Button to open and close the top-loading CD compartment.

  • AC IN: Connect the provided AC power cord.
  • L/R Speakers Output: Connect the left and right speakers using the provided speaker wires. Ensure correct polarity.
  • FM Antenna: Connect the FM antenna wire for radio reception.
  • AUX IN: Connect external audio devices (e.g., smartphone, MP3 player) using a 3.5mm audio cable.

5. Setup

Follow these steps to set up your LONPOO LP-128 system:

  1. Place the Unit: Position the main unit and speakers on a stable, flat surface. Ensure adequate ventilation around the unit.
  2. Connect Speakers: Connect the speaker wires from the main unit's L/R Speakers Output to the corresponding terminals on the back of each speaker. Ensure the positive (+) and negative (-) terminals match.
  3. Connect FM Antenna: Insert the FM antenna wire into the FM Antenna jack on the back panel. Extend the wire fully and position it for optimal reception.
  4. Connect Power: Insert the AC power cord into the AC IN jack on the back of the main unit, then plug the other end into a standard wall outlet.
  5. Insert Remote Batteries: Open the battery compartment on the remote control and insert two AAA batteries (not included), observing correct polarity.

6. Operating Instructions

6.1 Basic Operation

  • Power On/Off: Press the ▮/▮ button on the front panel or remote control to turn the unit on or off.
  • Mode Selection: Press the MODE/EQ button repeatedly to cycle through available input modes: CD, Bluetooth (BT), FM Radio, USB, and AUX.
  • Volume Adjustment: Rotate the Volume knob on the front panel or use the Volume +/- buttons on the remote control to adjust the sound level.
  • Equalizer (EQ): Press the MODE/EQ button (after selecting a mode) to cycle through preset equalizer settings: Flat, Classic, Rock, Pop, Jazz.

6.2 CD Player Operation

  1. Press the MODE/EQ button to select CD mode.
  2. Press the CD Door (Open/Close) button to open the CD compartment.
  3. Place a CD (CD/CD-R/CD-RW) with the label side facing up into the compartment.
  4. Close the CD compartment. The unit will read the disc, and playback will start automatically.
  5. Use the ►/SCAN button to Play/Pause.
  6. Use the ◀◀ and ►► buttons to skip tracks. Press and hold for fast backward/forward.
  7. Press the ■/▀ button repeatedly to select repeat modes: One (repeat current track), All (repeat all tracks), Random (play tracks in random order).

6.3 Bluetooth Operation

  1. Press the MODE/EQ button to select Bluetooth (BT) mode. The display will show "BT" and flash, indicating it's in pairing mode.
  2. On your Bluetooth-enabled device (smartphone, tablet, etc.), enable Bluetooth and search for available devices.
  3. Select "LP-128" from the list of devices. Once paired, the "BT" indicator on the system's display will stop flashing and remain solid.
  4. You can now play audio from your device through the LONPOO LP-128 system. Use your device or the system's controls for playback.

6.4 FM Radio Operation

  1. Press the MODE/EQ button to select FM Radio mode.
  2. Auto Scan: Press and hold the ►/SCAN button to automatically scan and save available FM stations (87.5 - 108 MHz). The system can save up to 30 preset stations.
  3. Manual Tuning/Preset Selection: Use the ◀◀ and ►► buttons to manually tune to stations or cycle through saved preset stations.

6.5 USB Playback

  1. Insert a USB flash drive containing MP3 or WMA audio files into the USB port on the front panel.
  2. Press the MODE/EQ button to select USB mode. The system will automatically detect and begin playing audio files from the USB drive.
  3. Use the ►/SCAN button to Play/Pause.
  4. Use the ◀◀ and ►► buttons to skip tracks. Press and hold for fast backward/forward.

6.6 AUX Input

Connect external audio devices to the system using the 3.5mm AUX IN jack on the back panel.

  1. Connect one end of a 3.5mm audio cable (not included) to the AUX IN jack on the back of the LONPOO LP-128.
  2. Connect the other end of the cable to the headphone jack or audio output of your external device.
  3. Press the MODE/EQ button to select AUX mode.
  4. Play audio from your external device. The sound will be output through the LONPOO LP-128 speakers. Control playback from your external device.

6.7 Earphone Output

For private listening, connect standard 3.5mm headphones to the Earphone Jack on the front panel. The speakers will automatically mute when headphones are connected.

7. Maintenance

Proper care and maintenance will ensure the longevity of your stereo system.

  • Cleaning: Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the exterior of the unit. Do not use abrasive cleaners, waxes, or solvents.
  • CD Player: Keep the CD compartment clean and free of dust. Avoid touching the CD lens.
  • Ventilation: Ensure that the ventilation openings are not blocked to prevent overheating.
  • Storage: If storing the unit for an extended period, unplug it from the power outlet and store it in a cool, dry place.
