5. Setup

5.2 Loading Thermal Paper

1. Open the paper compartment cover.
2. Insert the thermal paper according to the type:
• For Roll Paper: Place the roll into the designated slot, ensuring the printing side faces the print head.
• For Folding Paper: Feed the first sheet into the printer's paper entry slot, ensuring it is aligned straight.

2. Install the application on your smartphone or tablet.

Insert the provided USB drive into your computer. Install the appropriate printer drivers for your operating system. Follow the on-screen instructions during installation.

5.4 Connecting the Printer

5.4.1 Bluetooth Connection (Mobile Devices)

1. Ensure the printer is powered on.
2. On your mobile device, enable Bluetooth.
3. Open the "XLifePro" application.
4. Within the app, navigate to the device connection section (refer to Figure 5.4, Step 2).
5. Select "PB821" from the list of available devices to pair.
6. Once paired, the Bluetooth indicator on the printer will illuminate steadily.

5.4.2 USB Connection (Computers)

1. Ensure the printer is powered on.

6. Operating Instructions

6.1 Printing from Mobile Devices (via XLifePro App)

1. Ensure your printer is connected via Bluetooth to your mobile device.
2. Open the "XLifePro" application.
3. Select the document or image you wish to print (refer to Figure 5.4, Step 3). The app supports various document formats including A4, A5, B5, and custom sizes.
4. Adjust print settings such as paper size, density, and orientation within the app, if available.
5. Tap the "Print" button to start printing.

6.2 Printing from Computers (via USB)

1. Ensure your printer is connected via USB to your computer and drivers are installed.
