Initial Setup - Registering Administrator Fingerprint:
WARNING: Before first use, you MUST set up an Administrator fingerprint immediately after unboxing. Until this is done, the lock accepts ANY fingerprint to open your door, even a stranger’s.
- Install the batteries (4x AAA, not included) into the interior handle.
- Follow the voice prompts or indicator lights to register your first fingerprint. This fingerprint will be designated as the Administrator.
- Once the Administrator fingerprint is registered, the lock will no longer open with unregistered fingerprints.

Maintenance
Battery Replacement:
The lock requires 4x AAA batteries (not included). When the battery level is low, the lock will provide an audible or visual alert. Replace all four batteries simultaneously with new, high-quality alkaline batteries for optimal performance.
Cleaning:
Wipe the lock's surface with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid using abrasive cleaners, solvents, or harsh chemicals, as these can damage the finish and electronic components.
Fingerprint Sensor Care:
Ensure the fingerprint sensor is clean and dry for accurate recognition. If recognition issues occur, gently wipe the sensor with a clean, lint-free cloth.
Troubleshooting
- Lock opens with any fingerprint: This indicates that an Administrator fingerprint has not been registered. Immediately register an Administrator fingerprint as per the "Initial Setup" section.
- Lock does not respond or motor does not work:
- Check if the batteries are correctly installed and have sufficient charge. Replace with new batteries if necessary.
- Ensure the internal cable connecting the exterior and interior handle assemblies is fully plugged in. A loose connection can prevent the motor from engaging.
- Fingerprint recognition failure:
- Ensure your finger is clean and dry.
- Try repositioning your finger on the sensor.
- If issues persist, re-register your fingerprint or try using a different registered fingerprint.
- Keypad not responding:
- Tap the keypad to wake it up before entering a code.
- Check battery levels.
- Lock is completely unresponsive (no lights, sounds):
- The batteries may be completely dead. Use an external power bank connected to the USB port for emergency power to unlock the door.
- Replace the batteries immediately after gaining access.
- Keycards (fobs) not working:
- Ensure the keycards are properly registered with the lock.
- Try presenting the keycard closer to the sensor.
- If multiple keycards fail, there might be an issue with the lock's reader or the keycards themselves.
