4. Setup Instructions

4.1 SIM Card Installation

  3. Insert your Zain 5G SIM card into the slot with the gold contacts facing down and the notched corner oriented correctly. Push gently until it clicks into place.
  4. To remove the SIM card, gently push it in again until it springs out.

Important: This router is designed to work exclusively with Zain SIM cards. Using SIM cards from other providers may result in no network connectivity.

4.2 Powering On the Router

  1. Connect the power adapter to the POWER/LAN port on the rear of the router.
  2. Plug the other end of the power adapter into a standard electrical outlet.
  3. The router will automatically power on. Observe the LED indicators on the front panel. The POWER LED should turn solid green.
  4. Wait for the 5G or 4G/3G LED to turn solid green, indicating a successful connection to the mobile network. This may take a few minutes.

4.3 Initial Connection to the Router

You can connect to the router via Wi-Fi or Ethernet cable.

Via Wi-Fi:

  1. On your computer or mobile device, search for available Wi-Fi networks.
  2. Locate the Wi-Fi network name (SSID) printed on the bottom label of your router.
  3. Select the network and enter the Wi-Fi Key (password) also found on the bottom label.
  4. Once connected, the WI-FI LED on the router's front panel should illuminate.

Via Ethernet Cable:

  1. Connect one end of an Ethernet cable to any of the LAN ports on the rear of the router.
  2. Connect the other end of the Ethernet cable to the Ethernet port on your computer or other network device.
  3. Your device should automatically obtain an IP address and establish a wired connection.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1 Accessing the Web Management Interface

The web management interface allows you to configure and manage your router's settings.

  1. Ensure your device is connected to the router via Wi-Fi or Ethernet.
  2. Open a web browser (e.g., Chrome, Firefox, Edge).

  4. Enter your desired new SSID and a strong, unique password.
  5. Save the changes. Your devices will disconnect and you will need to reconnect using the new Wi-Fi credentials.
