4. Setup & Assembly
The BLAZEGO EM10 Electric Dirt Bike comes partially assembled. Follow these steps to complete the assembly:
- Unboxing: Carefully remove all packaging materials and components from the box. Ensure all parts listed in the 'What's in the Box' section are present.
- Foot Pegs Installation: Remove the pre-installed bolts from the foot peg holes. Reinstall the foot pegs in place on both sides using the provided bolts and tools.
- Handlebar Installation: Loosely install the handlebars into their position on the fork. Do not fully tighten yet.
- Rear Shock Installation: Remove the shipping bar from the rear shock area. Install the rear shock using the provided hardware, ensuring it is securely fastened.
- Front Wheel Installation: Remove the pre-installed axle from the front fork. Carefully align the front wheel, ensuring the long spacer is on the brake side. Slide the front wheel into place and tighten down the axle.
- Front Brake Caliper Installation: Remove the pad spacer from the front brake caliper. Remove the bolts from the caliper mount, install the caliper over the brake disc, and reinstall the bolts. Secure the front brake line to the front fork guard using the provided bracket.
- Front Fender Installation: Remove the 3 bolts in the lower fork mount. Reinstall these bolts with the front fender in place.
- Headlight & Number Plate Bracket Installation: Install the headlight and the front number plate bracket. Ensure the brake line is routed through the holders on the back of the number plate and secured with the bolt. Install the headlight and secure it with the provided nuts and bolts.
- Final Handlebar Adjustment: Set the handlebars to a comfortable riding position and tighten them down. Adjust the brake levers to your desired position and tighten them.
- Battery Connection: Connect the battery terminals if they are not already connected.
