Introduction
The MSEBENT Tracker Tag is designed to help you locate your personal items using the Apple Find My network. This 4-pack includes black and white tags, compatible exclusively with Apple iOS devices (iPhone, iPad) running iOS 14.5 / iPadOS 14.5 or later. Each tag is MFi certified and features IP67 water protection when properly enclosed in its silicone case. It uses a replaceable CR2032 battery and requires no monthly subscription.

Setup
Initial Pairing
To ensure successful pairing, do not remove the battery insulation tab until you are ready to set up the tracker. Once the tab is removed, the device must be paired within 10 minutes. If pairing is not completed within this timeframe, you will need to reset the device.

Connecting to Apple Find My App
- Ensure Bluetooth is enabled on your iPhone or iPad.
- Open the Find My app.
- Tap the + icon, then select Add Other Item. (Do not select Add AirTag)
- The app will detect the MSEBENT Tracker Tag. Tap Connect.
- Follow the on-screen prompts to link the tag to your Apple ID and name the item.
- Complete the setup process.

Operating Instructions
Locating Items
When your tracker tag is nearby, open the Find My app and select the item. Tap Play Sound to activate the built-in speaker, which can reach up to 70 dB in an open environment. Follow the sound to locate your item. For items out of Bluetooth range, the Find My app will display its last known location on a map, leveraging the Find My network.

Item Sharing
Each tracker tag can be shared with up to five additional people through the Find My app, allowing a total of six users (including the owner) to track the item. To share, users need an Apple ID, must be signed in to iCloud, and have a compatible iOS device with iOS 14.5 / iPadOS 14.5 or later. This feature is useful for shared items like family luggage or car keys.

Left Behind Alerts
The Find My app can provide notifications if a tracked item is left behind or moves out of range. Ensure your device settings allow these notifications for optimal use.

Battery Replacement
The MSEBENT Tracker Tag uses a user-replaceable CR2032 battery with an estimated life of 6 to 10 months, depending on usage. To replace the battery:
- Use a standard U.S. coin (e.g., 10-cent, 25-cent, or 50-cent) or a similar flat tool.
- Align the coin with the designated slot on the tracker tag.
- Twist 45° clockwise, following the "Open" marking, to gently release the cover.
- Remove the old CR2032 battery and insert a new one, ensuring correct polarity.
- To secure the cover, align it with the "Close" marking and twist 45° counter-clockwise until it is firmly closed.

Holder Installation
To ensure the tracker tag remains secure in the rubber holder, insert the tracker with the text side facing outward. The striped side should face the inner wall of the rubber holder. Incorrect installation (striped side facing outward) may cause the tracker to become loose.
Water Protection Notice
The tracker itself has no inherent waterproof protection. It is only protected against rain, splashes, or moisture when the included silicone case is properly installed. Always ensure the tracker is fully enclosed in the silicone case when used in wet conditions. Do not submerge the tracker in water.

Troubleshooting
Connection Issues After Removing Insulation Tab
If the tracker tag fails to connect within 10 minutes after removing the insulation tab, follow these steps:
- Twist open the cover, remove the battery, wait 5-8 seconds, then reinstall the battery and close the cover. Listen for a beep, which indicates normal pairing readiness.
- If still not working, try one of the following methods to discharge and reset the device:
- Method 1: Short the positive and negative terminals with a metal tool to discharge. Reinstall the battery until you hear the startup sound.
- Method 2: Leave the device idle for at least 5 minutes to fully discharge. Reinstall the battery until you hear the startup sound.
- Method 3: Briefly insert the battery in reverse polarity to short the terminals. Reinstall the battery until you hear the startup sound.
After performing a reset, ensure Bluetooth is on, open the Find My app, and select "Add Other Item" to attempt connection again.
