2. Safety Instructions

To reduce the risk of fire, electric shock, or injury, please observe the following safety precautions:

• Always unplug the air purifier before moving, cleaning, or performing any maintenance.
• Do not operate the unit with a damaged cord or plug. Contact customer support for assistance.
• Keep the power cord away from heated surfaces.
• Do not use the air purifier in wet or damp environments, such as bathrooms.
• Ensure the air inlet and outlet are not blocked. Maintain at least 1 foot (30 cm) clearance from walls and furniture.
• Do not insert fingers or foreign objects into the air inlets or outlets.
• This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced physical, sensory, or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance by a person responsible for their safety.

3.2 Control Panel & Display

• Power Button: Turns the unit on/off.
• Fan Speed Button: Cycles through fan speeds (1F, 2F, 3F) and Sleep Mode.
• Timer Button: Sets operation time (2H, 5H, 8H).
• Child Lock Button: Long press to activate/deactivate child lock.
• Auto Mode Button: Activates Smart Mode, adjusting fan speed based on AQI.

4. Setup

4.1 Unpacking and Filter Installation

1. Remove the air purifier from its packaging.
2. Open the back cover of the unit.
3. Remove the plastic packaging from the 3-in-1 filter.
4. Insert the filter back into the unit, ensuring it is correctly seated.
5. Close the back cover securely.

4.2 Placement

Place the air purifier on a flat, stable surface. For optimal air circulation, ensure there is at least 1 foot (30 cm) of space around all sides of the unit.

5. Operation

5.1 Power On/Off

Plug the power cord into a suitable electrical outlet. Press the Power Button on the control panel to turn the unit on or off.

5.2 Modes and Fan Speeds

• Manual Mode: Press the Fan Speed Button to cycle through 1F (low), 2F (medium), and 3F (high) fan speeds.
• Sleep Mode: Press the Fan Speed Button until 'Sleep' is displayed. In this mode, the unit operates at the lowest fan speed with minimal noise (22dB) and the display lights are dimmed for undisturbed sleep.
• Smart Mode: Press the Auto Mode Button. The air purifier will automatically detect the air quality (PM2.5 levels) and adjust the fan speed accordingly to maintain optimal air purification.

5.3 Timer Function

Press the Timer Button to set the operating time for 2, 5, or 8 hours. The unit will automatically turn off after the selected duration.

5.4 Child Lock

To prevent accidental changes to settings, long press the Child Lock Button for 3 seconds to activate or deactivate the child lock function. When activated, the control panel buttons will be unresponsive.

5.5 Aromatherapy

Add a few drops of your preferred essential oil to the aromatherapy pad located on the top of the unit. The air purifier will then diffuse the fragrance into your room.

6. Wi-Fi Connection & App Control

The ECOSELF HAP603WF can be controlled remotely via the Eco-Butler app. Follow these steps to connect your device:

1. Download the Eco-Butler App: Search for "Eco-Butler" in the App Store (iOS) or Google Play Store (Android) and install it.
2. Register/Log In: Open the app and create a new account or log in with an existing one.
3. Connect to 2.4GHz Wi-Fi: Ensure your smartphone is connected to a 2.4GHz Wi-Fi network. 5GHz networks are not supported.
4. Enable Pairing Mode: Plug in and turn on the air purifier. Hold down the Power Button for 5 seconds until the Wi-Fi indicator on the display blinks, indicating pairing mode.
5. Add Device in App: Open the Eco-Butler app, tap "Add Device" or the "+" icon. The app will search for nearby devices. Select "HAP603" or "HAP603WF" when it appears.
6. Enter Wi-Fi Information: Input your 2.4GHz Wi-Fi network name and password. Ensure this matches your phone's connection.
7. Connection Successful: Once connected, the Wi-Fi indicator on the air purifier will become solid, and you can control the device via the app.

6.1 App Features

The Eco-Butler app allows you to:

• Monitor real-time indoor air quality (PM2.5).
• Adjust purification modes (Manual, Auto, Sleep).
• Set fan speeds.
• Set timers and schedules.
• Activate/deactivate child lock.
• Turn display lights on/off.
• Receive filter replacement reminders.

7. Maintenance

7.1 Filter Replacement

The filter life indicator on the display and in the app will notify you when it's time to replace the filter. For optimal performance, replace the filter every 6-8 months, depending on usage and air quality.

1. Unplug the air purifier.
2. Open the back cover and remove the old filter.
3. Dispose of the old filter properly.
4. Remove all packaging from the new ECOSELF official replacement filter.
5. Insert the new filter into the unit and close the back cover.
6. Plug in the unit. Long press the "Reset Filter" button on the control panel or use the app to reset the filter life indicator.

7.2 Cleaning

• Exterior: Wipe the exterior of the unit with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
• Pre-filter: The pre-filter (outermost layer of the 3-in-1 filter) can be gently vacuumed to remove large dust particles and pet hair. Do not wash the HEPA or activated carbon layers.
• Air Quality Sensor: Periodically clean the air quality sensor located on the side of the unit with a dry cotton swab to ensure accurate readings.
