2. Setup

2.1 Setting the Time

  1. Pull the crown (center knob) out to the second click position.
  2. Turn the crown to set the hour and minute hands to the desired time.
  3. Push the crown back to the normal position.

2.2 Setting the Date

  1. Pull the crown out to the first click position.
  2. Turn the crown clockwise or counter-clockwise (depending on the movement) to set the date. Avoid setting the date between 9 PM and 3 AM, as this may interfere with the automatic date change mechanism.
  3. Push the crown back to the normal position.

2.3 Adjusting the Strap

The watch features a polyurethane strap with a buckle closure. Adjust the strap by selecting the appropriate hole for a comfortable and secure fit on your wrist. Ensure the strap is not too tight to prevent discomfort or too loose to prevent the watch from moving excessively.

3. Operating Instructions

3.1 Chronograph Function

Your watch is equipped with a chronograph, allowing for precise timing of events. It features 24-hour, 60-minute, and seconds subdials.

  1. Start/Stop: Press the upper pusher (button) to start the chronograph. Press it again to stop.
  2. Reset: While the chronograph is stopped, press the lower pusher to reset all chronograph hands to their zero positions.

3.2 Water Resistance

This watch is water resistant to 100 meters (330 feet). This rating makes it suitable for snorkeling and swimming. It is not suitable for diving. Ensure the crown is fully pushed in and, if applicable, screwed down before any water exposure. Do not operate the pushers or crown while the watch is wet or submerged.

3.3 Luminous Features

The watch hands and hour markers are treated with a luminous material that glows in the dark after exposure to light, aiding readability in low-light conditions.

4. Maintenance

4.1 Cleaning Your Watch

Wipe the watch case and strap regularly with a soft, dry cloth to remove dirt and moisture. For the polyurethane strap, a mild soap solution and water can be used, followed by thorough rinsing and drying. Avoid harsh chemicals or abrasive materials.

4.2 Battery Replacement

The watch is powered by a Lithium Ion battery. When the watch stops or the second hand moves erratically, it indicates a low battery. Battery replacement should be performed by a qualified watch technician to ensure proper sealing and maintain water resistance.

4.3 Water Resistance Check

It is recommended to have the water resistance of your watch checked annually, especially if it is frequently exposed to water, or after any service where the case back has been opened.

5. Troubleshooting

  • Watch Not Running: Check if the crown is fully pushed in. If the watch still does not run, the battery may need replacement.
  • Chronograph Hands Not Resetting to Zero: If the chronograph hands do not return to the 12 o'clock position when reset, consult a watch technician for adjustment.
  • Date Not Changing: Ensure the time is set correctly, especially the AM/PM cycle. If the date is set between 9 PM and 3 AM, it might not change correctly. Adjust the time past 3 AM and then set the date.
  • Water Inside the Watch: If you notice condensation or water droplets inside the watch, immediately take it to a qualified watch repair center. Do not attempt to open the watch yourself.
