The device features a sleek metal body with a 1.47-inch color LCD screen on the front. On the sides, you will find the power/recording switch, volume buttons, and a Type-C port. The built-in microphone is located at the top.

3. Setup

3.1 Initial Charging

Before first use, fully charge the device. Connect the included Type-C cable to the recorder's Type-C port and the other end to a USB power adapter (not included) or a computer's USB port. The screen will indicate charging status. A full charge typically takes a few hours.

3.2 Power On/Off

  • To Power On: Slide the power switch to the 'ON' position. The screen will light up.
  • To Power Off: Slide the power switch to the 'OFF' position. The device will save any active recording and shut down.

4. Operating Instructions

4.1 Basic Recording

  • Start Recording: From the OFF state, slide the recording switch to the 'ON' position. Recording will begin automatically after a 2-3 second response time. Alternatively, if the device is already ON, press the 'REC' button.
  • Stop and Save Recording: Slide the recording switch to the 'OFF' position. The recording will be automatically saved.
  • File Management: Recorded files are automatically named with the date and time for easy identification.

4.2 Advanced Recording Functions

  • Voice Operated Recording (VOR): This feature automatically starts recording when sound is detected (above 45dB) and pauses when there is no sound (below 45dB), saving memory and avoiding silent sections.

4.3 Playback and File Management

  • Playback: Use the device's built-in speaker or connect headphones to the Type-C port (with adapter if needed) to listen to recordings.
  • Variable Speed Playback: Adjust the playback speed to review content more efficiently or for language learning.

  • Connecting to PC/Smartphone (OTG): Connect the recorder directly to a computer or an OTG-compatible smartphone using the Type-C cable and included OTG adapter. This allows for easy transfer, playback, and backup of recording data.
