Setup & Operating Instructions

- Battery Installation for Ignition: Install one AAA battery into the IGNITION component. Tighten clockwise.
- Battery Installation for Receiver: Install four AAA batteries into the receiver box.
- Connect Receiver: Connect the main unit with the receiver, ensuring the receiver is in the OFF position before connecting.
- Remote Control Batteries: Install two AAA batteries into the remote control.
- Lava Rock Placement: Distribute the provided 6.6 pounds of lava rock around the burner base.
- Log Placement: Carefully place the 7 ceramic logs onto the burner grate. Each log is marked with a number and must be installed according to the instruction manual for optimal flame appearance and safety. Refer to the provided diagrams for correct log arrangement.
- Activate Remote Control: Press any button on the remote control to wake it up. The display will show the current temperature.
- Set Receiver to REMOTE: Ensure the receiver box switch is set to the "REMOTE" position.
- Ignite Pilot Flame: Press lightly on the control knob on the main unit and turn it counterclockwise to the "PILOT" position. Press and hold the IGNITION button while pressing and holding the control knob. Light the pilot flame and wait for it to stabilize before releasing the knob.
- Turn ON Main Flame: Once the pilot flame is stable, press the ON button on the remote control to ignite the main flame.
- Adjust Temperature/Mode: Use the "MODE" button on the remote control to switch between manual mode and automatic constant temperature mode. Use the UP/DOWN buttons to adjust temperature settings.
- Turn OFF Main Flame: Use the "OFF" button on the remote control to turn off the main flame.
- Turn OFF Pilot Flame: The pilot flame must be turned off by rotating the control knob on the main unit to the "OFF" position.
