Important Safety Information

• Ensure the coffee maker is placed on a stable, level surface away from the edge of the countertop.
• Do not immerse the appliance, power cord, or plug in water or other liquids.
• Unplug the coffee maker from the outlet when not in use and before cleaning.
• Do not operate any appliance with a damaged cord or plug, or after the appliance malfunctions or has been damaged in any manner.
• This appliance is for household use only.
• Always ensure the water reservoir is filled to the appropriate level before brewing.
• Exercise caution when handling hot liquids and steam.

Important Note: Before initial use, locate and remove the red silicone plug from the bottom of the water tank. Failure to do so will prevent water from flowing into the machine.

Setup

Follow these steps to set up your REVOTRA Single Serve Coffee Maker for the first time.

1. Unpack the Coffee Maker: Carefully remove all packaging materials from the box.
2. Remove Red Silicone Plug: Locate the red silicone plug at the bottom of the removable water tank and remove it. This is crucial for water flow.
3. Place Drip Tray: Ensure the removable drip tray is securely in place at the base of the coffee maker.
4. Clean Components: Wash the water reservoir, pod holder, and reusable filter in warm, soapy water. Rinse thoroughly and dry.
5. Fill Water Reservoir: Fill the removable water reservoir with fresh, cold water up to the 'MAX' line (40 oz). Place it back onto the coffee maker.
6. First Cleanse Brew: Before brewing coffee, perform a cleansing cycle. Place an empty mug on the drip tray, close the lid, select the largest cup size (14 oz), and press the 'Regular' brew button. Discard the hot water. This cleans the internal components.

Operating Instructions

Brewing your favorite beverage is simple with the REVOTRA coffee maker. Ensure the water reservoir is filled before starting.

Brewing with K-Cup Pods:

1. Lift the lid of the coffee maker.
2. Insert a K-Cup pod into the pod holder. Ensure it is seated correctly.
3. Close the lid firmly.
4. Place your mug on the drip tray. For taller mugs, remove the drip tray.
5. Select your desired cup size (6, 8, 10, 12, or 14 oz) using the 'Cup Size' button.
6. Choose your brew strength: press 'Regular' for a standard brew or 'Strong' for a bolder flavor.
7. The machine will begin brewing. Wait for the brewing cycle to complete.

Brewing with Ground Coffee or Loose Leaf Tea:

1. Lift the lid of the coffee maker.
2. Remove the K-Cup pod holder if it's in place.
3. Insert the reusable filter into the brewing chamber.
4. Add your desired amount of ground coffee or loose leaf tea into the reusable filter. Do not overfill.
5. Close the lid firmly.
6. Place your mug on the drip tray.
7. Select your desired cup size and brew strength as described above.
8. The machine will begin brewing.

Maintenance

Regular cleaning and maintenance will ensure the longevity and optimal performance of your coffee maker.

Daily Cleaning:

• Water Reservoir: Empty any remaining water and rinse the reservoir with fresh water daily.
• Pod Holder/Reusable Filter: After each use, remove and rinse the pod holder or reusable filter. Wash with warm, soapy water as needed.
• Drip Tray: Empty and rinse the drip tray daily to prevent overflow and residue buildup.
• Exterior: Wipe the exterior of the coffee maker with a damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners.

Descaling (Monthly or as needed):

Mineral deposits can build up over time, affecting performance. Descale your coffee maker regularly.

1. Fill the water reservoir with a mixture of one part white vinegar and two parts water.
2. Place a large mug on the drip tray.
3. Run a brew cycle without a pod or ground coffee, selecting the largest cup size.
4. Repeat this process until the reservoir is empty.
5. Rinse the reservoir and fill it with fresh water.
6. Run several full water cycles to flush out any remaining vinegar solution.
