Setup and Installation

Mounting the Headlight

The HORI1300S features a versatile mounting system. You can install it either above or below your handlebars using the provided MJ-6538 mount and appropriate shims for your handlebar diameter. Ensure the "HORI 1300S" logo on the light is upright for the correct beam pattern.

Remote Control Pairing (FTR LightSync)

To pair the wireless remote control with your HORI1300S headlight and a compatible taillight (sold separately), follow these steps:

1. Turn on the front light.
2. Turn on the compatible taillight (if applicable).
3. Press and hold both buttons ("O" and "☐") on the remote control for 10 seconds until the indicator flashes blue.
4. Hold the remote close to the front light. Wait for approximately 1 minute until the light turns solid blue, indicating successful pairing.

Operating Instructions

Power On/Off

• Manual Control: Press and hold the power button on the side of the light to turn it on or off.
• Smart ON/OFF: The built-in vibration sensors will automatically turn the light on when motion is detected. It will automatically shut down after 5 minutes of inactivity to save power. This feature can be toggled ON/OFF via the Magicshine APP.

Mode Switching

Cycle through different lighting modes (Low Beam, High Beam, Flash) by short-pressing the power button on the light or using the remote control. The Day Flash and Night Flash modes are only accessible via the MJ-6558 remote control.

Lock Protection

To prevent accidental activation and conserve battery, hold the power button for 3 seconds to lock or unlock the light.

Battery Indicator

The light features an indicator to show the remaining battery power at a glance:

• Constant Green: >21% battery
• Constant Red: 20%-11% battery
• Flashing Red: 10%-1% battery

Charging

The HORI1300S is equipped with a USB-C charging port. Use the provided USB-C cable to charge the device. Ensure the port cover is securely closed after charging to maintain its IPX6 waterproof rating.
