1. Introduction

This manual provides detailed instructions for the setup, operation, and maintenance of your Newentor Projection Alarm Clock. This device combines a digital alarm clock with a weather station, offering time, indoor/outdoor temperature and humidity, and weather forecasts. Its projection feature allows for easy viewing of time and temperature on a wall or ceiling.

3. Product Overview

The main unit features a multi-color display showing time, date, weather forecast, indoor temperature and humidity, and outdoor temperature and humidity. A rotatable projection arm extends from the side, allowing for time and temperature projection. The back of the unit contains control buttons for settings and alarm management.

4. Setup

4.1 Powering the Main Unit

1. Connect the DC power adapter to the main unit and plug it into a power outlet.
2. For battery backup during power outages, insert 3 AAA batteries (not included) into the battery compartment on the back of the unit.

4.2 Setting Up the Wireless Outdoor Sensor

1. Insert 2 AA batteries (not included) into the wireless outdoor sensor.
2. Place the sensor in a shaded, dry outdoor location, away from direct sunlight and rain, for accurate readings. The sensor has a transmission range of up to 328 feet.
3. The main unit will automatically connect to the sensor. If connection fails, refer to the troubleshooting section.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1 Time and Date Settings

• Press and hold the 'SET' button to enter time setting mode.
• Use the '+' or '-' buttons to adjust values.
• Press 'SET' again to confirm and move to the next setting (e.g., 12/24-hour format, hour, minute, year, month, day).

5.2 Alarm Settings

• The clock features dual alarms. Press the 'ALARM' button to select Alarm 1 or Alarm 2.
• Press and hold the 'ALARM' button to enter alarm time setting.
• Use '+' or '-' to adjust the alarm time.
• Press 'ALARM' to confirm.
• To activate/deactivate an alarm, press the 'ALARM' button repeatedly until the alarm icon appears/disappears.
• When the alarm sounds, press the 'SNOOZE/LIGHT' button to activate snooze (default 5 minutes).

5.3 Projection Features

• The projection arm can be rotated 180 degrees to project time and temperature onto a wall or ceiling.
• Press the 'PROJECTION' button to toggle the projection on/off.
• Hold the 'PROJECTION' button to adjust projection brightness (dual settings).
• Use the focus wheel on the projection arm to adjust clarity.
• The projection can display time and indoor/outdoor temperature alternately.

5.4 Display Brightness

• Press the 'SNOOZE/LIGHT' button to cycle through four display brightness levels: High, Medium, Low, and Off.

5.5 Weather Station Functions

• The display shows current indoor and outdoor temperature and humidity.
• Weather forecast icons (sunny, cloudy, rainy) are displayed based on atmospheric pressure changes.
• The system supports up to three wireless outdoor sensors for comprehensive monitoring (additional sensors sold separately).

6. Maintenance

• Clean the unit and sensor with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
• Ensure the outdoor sensor is kept in a shaded area to protect it from prolonged sun and rain exposure, which can affect accuracy and performance.
• Replace batteries in the main unit (for backup) and outdoor sensor as needed.

7. Troubleshooting

7.1 No Outdoor Temperature/Humidity Reading

• Ensure the outdoor sensor batteries are correctly installed and not depleted.
• Verify the sensor is within the 328-foot transmission range of the main unit.
• Avoid major obstructions (thick walls, metal objects) between the sensor and the main unit.
• Try re-pairing the sensor by removing batteries from both units, then reinserting them into the sensor first, then the main unit.

7.2 Unclear Projection

• Adjust the focus wheel on the projection arm until the image is clear.
• Ensure the projection surface is within the optimal range (1.64-12 ft).
• Adjust the projection brightness using the 'PROJECTION' button.
