1. Introduction

Thank you for choosing the Pawfly Aquarium Light CW4390. This 6W Bluetooth-enabled LED light is designed to provide full-spectrum illumination for 1-5 gallon fish tanks, promoting plant and coral growth while enhancing the natural colors of your aquatic environment. This manual provides detailed instructions for installation, operation, and maintenance to ensure optimal performance and longevity of your aquarium light.

2. Safety Information

• Read all instructions before use and retain for future reference.
• This product is designed for indoor use only.
• Ensure the power adapter (not included) is 5V/2A for stable lighting. Using a 5V/1A adapter may cause the light to flash at high brightness.
• Do not immerse the controller or USB connector in water. The light head is IP67 waterproof, designed to withstand splashes and short shallow immersion, but the power components are not.
• Always unplug the light from the power source before performing any maintenance or cleaning.
• Do not operate the light if any part is damaged. Contact customer support for assistance.
• Keep out of reach of children.

4. Setup

4.1 Mounting the Light

1. Identify a suitable location on the rim of your aquarium. The clip-on design is ideal for rimless tanks or tanks with thin rims.
2. Attach the adjustable bracket clip securely to the tank rim. Ensure it is stable and will not slip.
3. Adjust the flexible gooseneck to position the light head directly over your aquarium, ensuring even light distribution.

The light features a flexible gooseneck for easy positioning and an adjustable bracket for secure attachment to various tank sizes (1-5 gallons).

4.2 Connecting Power

1. Connect the USB plug of the light to a 5V/2A USB power adapter (not included).
2. Plug the power adapter into a standard electrical outlet.
3. The light's controller display will illuminate, indicating it is powered on.

The light is designed for instant USB power. Ensure adequate power supply to prevent flashing.

4.3 App Download and Bluetooth Connection

1. Download the "P-lighting controller" app from the App Store (iOS) or Google Play Store (Android).
2. Ensure Bluetooth is enabled on your mobile device.
3. Open the app and follow the on-screen instructions to connect to your Pawfly Aquarium Light. The default PIN is 12345678.

The app allows for comprehensive control over brightness, colors, and effects.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1 Manual Controller Functions

The inline controller provides direct access to essential light functions:

• (1) Hour +: Increase brightness / Set start hour for timer.
• (2) Minute -: Decrease brightness / Set start minute for timer.
• (3) JPN Style: Set Japanese style timer mode.
• (4) Dutch Style: Set Dutch style timer mode.
• (5) Jungle Style: Set Jungle style timer mode.
• (6) Dynamic Color Mode & On/Off: Cycle through dynamic color modes or press and hold to turn the light on/off.

5.2 Bluetooth App Functions

The P-lighting controller app offers advanced customization:

• Brightness Adjustment: Tailor light intensity from 1% to 100% for optimal plant and fish health.
• Color Customization: Access over 100,000 color choices. Independently adjust WRGB (White, Red, Green, Blue) color channels to create specific hues.
• Dynamic Effects: Choose from various preset effects or create your own vibrant light shows.

5.3 Automatic Day-Night Timers

The light features 24/7 natural day-night cycle simulation with three preset timer modes and customizable options via the app.

• Dutch Style: Simulates a specific light cycle.
• Jungle Style: Simulates a specific light cycle.
• Japanese Style: Simulates a specific light cycle.
• Custom DIY Timers: Use the app to set personalized lighting schedules, including start times and light intensity changes throughout the day. DIY timers must be set before first use.

5.4 Full Spectrum Lighting

The light provides a full spectrum (6500 K white, 660 nm red, 520 nm green, 450 nm blue) with PAR (25), LUX (1200), and CRI (91) to support aquatic life.

6. Maintenance

• Cleaning: Disconnect the power before cleaning. Wipe the light head and gooseneck with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
• Water Exposure: While the light head is IP67 waterproof, avoid prolonged immersion. Ensure the controller and USB connection remain dry.
• Storage: If storing the light, ensure it is clean and dry. Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.
