Setup and Assembly

Assembly requires at least two people. Follow the steps outlined in the video below for a complete assembly guide.

Key Assembly Steps:

1. Unpacking: Carefully remove all components from the packaging. Keep parts in their protective coverings until needed.
2. Assembling Desk Extensions: Remove cardboard covers from the desk top. Slide the side frames outward. Align and insert desk extensions into both sides of the desk top, ensuring a minimal gap. Secure with Torx T25 screws and cover with screw caps.
3. Placing Integrated Power Supply: Decide whether to install the power supply column on the left or right side based on your power outlet's proximity.
4. Connecting Leg Columns: Place the leg columns (including the power supply column) onto the desk frame. Plug the corresponding cables from the leg columns into the control box. Tuck any unused cables into the desk frame. Insert the leg columns downwards and push outward to slot them into place. Fully tighten the fasteners with a Torx T30 screwdriver.
5. Assembling Cable Tray: Align the mounting brackets for the cable tray, ensuring the magnetic side faces the front. Screw in the mounting bracket screws. Place the cable tray onto the brackets, aligning it with the alignment notches, and rotate it downward to magnetically snap it into place. Secure with cable tray screws.
6. Assembling Desk Feet: Guide the cable from the leg column through the opening in the middle of the desk foot. Ensure the longer end of each foot faces toward the front of the desk. Hold each desk foot in place and screw in the desk feet screws following the numbered order.
7. Finishing Touches: Insert the finishing caps into the front and back of the side frame. If assembling a Magnus Evo XL, snap the magnetic frame covers onto both sides of the main frame.
8. Flipping the Desk Upright: With at least two people, place the packaging foam layer next to the desk. Hold the desk top and side frame firmly. Gently tilt the desk, rotating it 90 degrees until the control panel is facing downwards and resting on the foam layer. Then, gently tilt the desk again, rotating it 90 degrees to an upright position. Ensure the desk is stable and balanced before releasing your grip.
9. Powering the Desk: Connect the power cord with the socket located at the bottom of the leg column. Plug the other end of the power cord into a compatible power outlet.

Operating Instructions

1. Calibration/Reset

The Magnus Evo must be calibrated prior to its first use and reset after being disconnected from the power supply or after sustaining any impact on the desktop. Ensure the area around your desk is free from obstacles.

1. Slide the standby switch to the right to activate the control panel.
2. Press and hold the 'Down' button.
3. After a few seconds, the display will show "RST" and the desk will automatically start moving downwards until it reaches its lowest position.

To adjust the height of your Magnus Evo, press and hold the 'Up' or 'Down' button until the desk reaches your desired position. You can press the button for precise height adjustments down to the millimeter.

The Premium PC Mount can be installed on either side of the Magnus Evo. On the Magnus Evo, it supports a PC up to 22cm (8.6 inches) in width. On the Magnus Evo XL, it supports a PC up to 29cm (11.4 inches) in width. If your PC is taller than 44cm (17.3 inches), it is recommended to save the minimum height of your Magnus Evo at 78cm as one of your presets to ensure clearance.
