3. Setup

3.1 Handle Assembly

  1. Unfold the lower handle section and secure it to the mower deck using the provided bolts and knobs.
  2. Attach the upper handle section to the lower section, ensuring the quick-release clamps are securely fastened.
  3. Adjust the handle height to a comfortable operating position and tighten the adjustment knobs.

3.2 Grass Bag Attachment

  1. Assemble the grass bag frame and attach the fabric bag.
  2. Lift the rear discharge flap on the mower.
  3. Hook the grass bag onto the mower's rear discharge opening. Ensure it is securely seated.

3.3 Power Connection

Connect the mower's power cord to a suitable outdoor extension cord. Ensure the extension cord is rated for outdoor use and is of appropriate gauge for the distance. Secure the connection to prevent accidental disconnection during operation.

4. Operating Instructions

4.1 Adjusting Cutting Height

The mower offers 6 cutting height positions. To adjust:

  1. Ensure the mower is unplugged.
  2. Locate the height adjustment lever on the side of the mower.
  3. Pull the lever outwards and move it to the desired height setting (1" to 3").
  4. Release the lever to lock it into position. Ensure all wheels are at the same height.

4.2 Starting the Mower

  1. Ensure the mower is on a flat, clear surface.
  2. Connect the mower to a power outlet via an appropriate extension cord.
  3. Press and hold the safety lock button.
  4. While holding the safety lock button, pull the red 'Start Lever' towards the handle. The motor will start.
  5. Release the safety lock button once the motor is running.

  • Mow in overlapping rows to ensure even cutting.
  • For best results, avoid cutting more than one-third of the grass blade length at a time.
  • When mulching, ensure the grass is dry and not excessively long.
