2. Setup
2.1 Powering the Main Unit
- Connect the provided power adapter to the DC input port on the back of the main unit.
- Plug the adapter into a standard electrical outlet. The display will illuminate.
2.2 Installing Batteries in the Outdoor Sensor
The outdoor sensor requires 2x AAA batteries (not included).
- Open the battery compartment on the back of the outdoor sensor.
- Insert 2 AAA batteries, ensuring correct polarity (+/-).
- Close the battery compartment securely.
2.3 Outdoor Sensor Pairing
The outdoor sensor should automatically pair with the main unit once both are powered on. The outdoor temperature and humidity will appear on the main unit's display.
- Place the outdoor sensor in a sheltered location outside, away from direct sunlight and rain, to ensure accurate readings.
- Ensure the sensor is within effective transmission range of the main unit (typically up to 30 meters in open air).

2.4 Initial Settings (Time, Date, Units)
The unit features DCF automatic time synchronization. If manual adjustment is needed or preferred:
- Press and hold the MODE/CLOCK button to enter time setting mode.
- Use the SEL (<) and SEL (>) buttons to adjust values.
- Press MODE/CLOCK again to confirm and move to the next setting (e.g., hour, minute, 12/24h format, year, month, day, temperature unit ℃/℉).
- Press MODE/CLOCK repeatedly until all settings are confirmed and you exit the setting mode.
3. Operation
3.1 Weather Station Functions
The display provides comprehensive weather and environmental information:
- Time and Date: Synchronized via DCF radio signal.
- Indoor Temperature & Humidity: Measured by the main unit.
- Outdoor Temperature & Humidity: Received from the wireless sensor.
- Weather Forecast: Icons indicate predicted weather conditions (e.g., sunny, cloudy, rainy).
- Air Quality: An indicator for general air quality.
- Moon Phases: Displays the current phase of the moon.
- Atmospheric Pressure: Shows current pressure readings.

3.2 Bluetooth Speaker
To play audio via Bluetooth:
- Ensure the main unit is powered on.
- Activate Bluetooth on your smartphone or tablet.
- Search for available Bluetooth devices and select "THOMSON WS102TWH" to pair.
- Once paired, you can play audio from your device through the speaker.
- Adjust volume using the VOL (-) and VOL (+) buttons on the unit or from your connected device.
3.3 FM Radio
To use the FM radio function:
- Extend the telescopic antenna on the back of the unit for optimal reception.
- Press the MODE/CLOCK button repeatedly until "FM" appears on the display.
- Press and hold the SEL (<) or SEL (>) buttons to automatically scan for the next available station.
- Briefly press SEL (<) or SEL (>) to fine-tune the frequency manually.

3.4 Clock and Alarm
The clock automatically synchronizes via DCF. To set an alarm:
- In normal time display mode, briefly press the MODE/CLOCK button to cycle through display modes until the alarm time is shown.
- Press and hold the MODE/CLOCK button to enter alarm setting mode.
- Use the SEL (<) and SEL (>) buttons to adjust the alarm hour and minute.
- Press MODE/CLOCK to confirm each setting.
- To activate/deactivate the alarm, briefly press the VOL (+) button when the alarm time is displayed. An alarm icon will appear/disappear.
3.5 Display Brightness
The display has 4 levels of adjustable brightness.
- Briefly press the dedicated brightness button (often indicated by a sun icon) on the unit to cycle through the brightness levels.
4. Maintenance
4.1 Cleaning
- Wipe the unit and sensor with a soft, dry cloth.
- Do not use abrasive cleaners, solvents, or chemical agents, as these may damage the surfaces.
- Avoid exposing the unit to excessive moisture.
4.2 Outdoor Sensor Battery Replacement
When the outdoor sensor's battery indicator appears on the main unit's display, replace the batteries:
- Open the battery compartment on the back of the outdoor sensor.
- Remove the old AAA batteries.
- Insert new 2x AAA batteries, observing correct polarity.
- Close the battery compartment. The sensor will automatically re-pair with the main unit.
