3. Setup and Connection

Follow these steps to connect your Headwolf T1 Gamepad Controller to your device.

Wired Connection:

The controller automatically connects and powers on when connected to a tablet or smartphone via the Type-C port.

  1. Align your smartphone or tablet with the controller's Type-C port.
  2. Extend the controller to securely fit your smartphone or tablet.
  3. Close the controller to complete the connection. The controller will power on automatically.

Bluetooth Connection:

For wireless connection, enable Bluetooth on your smartphone or tablet, search for the device, and tap to pair.

Wired Connection Mode Settings:

The controller vibrates for approximately 1 second when successfully connected.

4. Operating Instructions

4.1. Mode Switching

  • Wired HID Mode: FN + A button. Indicator: Yellow lamp lights up slowly, then stays on.
  • Wired Xbox Mode: FN + X button. Indicator: White lamp lights up slowly, then stays on.
  • Wired Apple PS Mode: FN + B button. Indicator: Green lamp lights up slowly, then stays on.
  • Bluetooth Standard Xbox Mode: FN + T button. Indicator: Blue lamp lights up slowly, then stays on.
  • Bluetooth Mapping Mode: FN + Menu button. Indicator: Blue lamp lights up slowly, then stays on.

4.2. TURBO Function

The TURBO function allows for continuous rapid input of a button press.

  • Supported Buttons: A, B, X, Y, LB, RB, LT, RT, L3, R3.
  • Activation: Press the desired button and the T key simultaneously to activate TURBO.
  • Speed Adjustment: Press the T key + Directional Up/Down keys to cycle through 4 levels of burst speed (up to 40 shots/second). The red indicator light will show the current status.
  • Deactivation: Press the button with TURBO activated and the T key simultaneously again.

4.3. Macro Function

Program complex sequences of button presses to the M1/M2 back buttons.

  • Recording: Press FN + M1/M2 to enter recording mode. The indicator light will flash. Press the sequence of buttons you wish to record (up to 12 keys). Press FN + M1/M2 again to save the macro.
  • Execution: Press the M1/M2 button to execute the recorded macro.
  • Deletion: Press FN + M1/M2 twice quickly to delete the stored macro.
  • Persistence: Macro settings are saved even after the controller is powered off.

4.4. Vibration Adjustment

Adjust the intensity of the controller's vibration feedback.

  • Intensity Levels: 0 to 6 levels.
  • Adjustment: Press FN + Right Stick Up/Down to increase or decrease vibration intensity.
  • Vibration Modes: Choose from in-game signal linkage, trigger linkage, or custom vibration. Detailed settings may be available via a dedicated app.

4.5. Linear/Quick Trigger Switching

Optimize trigger response for different game types.

  • Switching: Press FN + LT/RT simultaneously to toggle between Linear Trigger and Quick Trigger modes.

  • Quick Mode: Suitable for rapid response in shooting games.
  • Indicator: A light indicator will confirm the current trigger mode.

4.6. System Volume Adjustment (Wired HID Mode Only)
