Setup
1. Lancing Device Preparation
Video Description: This video demonstrates how to install the lancet into the lancing device, adjust depth, and arm it.
- Tighten the lancing device adjustment head.
- Place a new blood collection needle into the needle hub.
- Screw off the lancet cap vertically.
- Rescrew the adjustment head back on.
- Adjust the lancet depth (recommended to start with 2; for thicker skin, switch to a higher number).
- Pull the lancet handle backward until you hear a "click" sound to arm the device.
2. Inserting the Code Card
Insert the code card into the meter while the device is powered off. The meter will display the code. Verify that the code on the screen matches the code on the test strip box.
Operating Instructions
1. Preparing the Test Strip
Take one test strip from the vial. Close the vial cap immediately to protect remaining strips from moisture.
With the blood collection port facing upwards, insert the test strip into the test strip slot on the meter. The meter will display a blood drop symbol, indicating it is ready for blood collection.
2. Blood Collection
Clean and dry your hands thoroughly before blood collection.
Use the lancing device to obtain a blood sample from your fingertip. It is recommended to use the sides of the fingers for less pain.
Gently press around the fingertip to increase the amount of blood drawn.
Remove a capillary tube. Let the tip of the tube touch the blood droplet to draw blood naturally. Do not squeeze the end of the tube or block the air vent. The total blood volume should be approximately 40 microliters (up to the black graduation line).
3. Applying Blood Sample and Reading Results

Image Description: A quick start guide showing 6 steps: Time Setting, Code Card, Insert Test Strip, Draw Blood Sample, Add Blood Drop, and Read the Result.
- Add the collected blood sample into the test sample well of the inserted test strip at once.
- The meter will begin analysis. Results for Total Cholesterol (TC), Triglycerides (TG), High-Density Lipoprotein (HDL), Low-Density Lipoprotein (LDL), and TC/HDL ratio will be available in approximately 2 minutes.
4. Viewing Stored Data
After removing the test strip, the instrument will automatically store the measurement results (up to 300 recent results with time and date stamps) and turn off.
You can press the "M" key to view recent test results.
