3. Product Overview
The TOMZN TOB1S-63 is a smart circuit breaker offering protection against over-voltage (OVP), under-voltage (UVP), over-current (OCP), and short-circuit conditions. It features WiFi connectivity for remote control via the TUYA Smartlife app and supports RS485 Modbus communication.

4. Setup
4.1 Mechanical Installation
- Ensure all power is disconnected at the main breaker.
- Mount the TOB1S-63 circuit breaker onto a standard 35mm DIN rail by engaging the clips on the back of the device.
4.2 Electrical Wiring
The TOB1S-63 is a 3P+N device. Connect the incoming power supply to the 'Power' terminals and the load to the 'Load' terminals as indicated on the device.
- Connect the three phase lines (L1, L2, L3) and the neutral line (N) to the respective 'Power' input terminals.
- Connect the corresponding load lines (L1, L2, L3, N) to the 'Load' output terminals.
- Ensure all screw-type terminals are tightened securely to prevent loose connections and arcing.

4.3 WiFi Network Connection (TUYA Smartlife App)
- Download the 'TUYA Smartlife' app from your smartphone's app store.
- Register or log in to your Smartlife account.
- Ensure the circuit breaker is powered ON. The 'Signal' indicator light should be blinking. If not, press and hold the 'Press 10s network' button until it blinks rapidly.
- In the Smartlife app, tap '+' to add a device. Select 'Electrical' > 'Circuit Breaker (Wi-Fi)'.
- Follow the on-screen instructions to connect the device to your 2.4GHz WiFi network.
- Once connected, the 'Signal' indicator will become solid.
4.4 RS485 Modbus Connection (Optional)
For RS485 Modbus communication, connect the A and B terminals of the circuit breaker to your Modbus network. Refer to the Modbus protocol documentation for specific register addresses and communication parameters.
5. Operating Instructions
5.1 Manual Operation
To manually turn the circuit breaker ON or OFF, use the red toggle switches on the front panel. Push up for ON, push down for OFF.
5.2 Smartlife App Operation
Once connected to the Smartlife app, you can:
- Remotely turn the circuit breaker ON/OFF.
- Set schedules or timers for automatic operation.
- Monitor real-time current, voltage, and power consumption.
- Adjust protection parameters (OVP, UVP, OCP).
5.3 Protection Features
The TOB1S-63 provides the following adjustable protection features:
- Over Voltage Protection (OVP): Adjustable range 250-300V. The breaker will trip if the voltage exceeds this set limit.
- Under Voltage Protection (UVP): Adjustable range 150-200V. The breaker will trip if the voltage drops below this set limit.
- Over Current Protection (OCP): Adjustable range 1-63A. The breaker will trip if the current exceeds this set limit.
- Short-Circuit Protection: Non-adjustable, inherent protection against short circuits.
Adjust these settings via the Smartlife app interface for the device. After a trip event, investigate the cause before manually resetting the breaker.
6. Maintenance
The TOMZN TOB1S-63 circuit breaker requires minimal maintenance.
- Periodically inspect the wiring connections to ensure they remain tight and free from corrosion.
- Keep the device clean and free from dust and debris. Use a dry, soft cloth for cleaning.
- Do not use liquid cleaners or solvents.
- Ensure proper ventilation around the device to prevent overheating.
7. Troubleshooting
- Device not powering on:
- Check the main power supply.
- Verify all input wiring connections are secure.
- Circuit breaker trips frequently:
- Check for over-current conditions on the load.
- Verify voltage levels are within the set OVP/UVP ranges.
- Inspect for short circuits in the connected load.
- Adjust OVP/UVP/OCP settings if necessary, ensuring they are appropriate for your application.
- WiFi connection issues:
- Ensure your router is 2.4GHz compatible.
- Check WiFi signal strength at the device location.
- Restart the circuit breaker and your WiFi router.
- Re-attempt the pairing process in the Smartlife app.
- RS485 Modbus communication failure:
- Verify A and B terminal connections.
- Check Modbus network configuration and device address.
