3. Setup
3.1. Charge the Printer
Before first use, ensure the Hello Blink Tattoo Printer is fully charged using the provided USB cable.
3.2. Download the Hello Blink App
Download the free Hello Blink app from the Apple App Store or Google Play Store on your smartphone or tablet.
3.3. Connect via Bluetooth
- Turn on the Hello Blink Tattoo Printer.
- Enable Bluetooth on your mobile device.
- Open the Hello Blink app and follow the on-screen instructions to pair your device with the printer.
3.4. Load Tattoo Paper
Insert one tattoo paper sheet into the printer with the 'helloblink' logo side facing up. The printer will automatically pull the paper into position.

4. Operation
4.1. Design Your Tattoo
Within the Hello Blink app, you have several options to create your tattoo design:
- Gallery: Choose from a variety of pre-loaded designs.
- Import: Upload your own photos or images.
- Create: Draw your own unique designs directly in the app.
4.2. Print the Tattoo
- Once your design is ready in the app, select the print option.
- Confirm the design and ensure tattoo paper is correctly loaded in the printer.
- The printer will automatically print your design onto the tattoo paper.
4.3. Color Your Tattoo
Use the provided Hello Blink tattoo markers to add color to your printed design. These markers are cosmetic-grade and safe for skin contact.

4.4. Apply the Tattoo
- Carefully cut out your colored tattoo design, leaving a small border around the edges.
- Peel off the clear protective film from one of the transfer paper sheets.
- Place the sticky side of the transfer paper onto your tattoo design, ensuring it adheres smoothly.
- Gently peel the transfer paper away from the tattoo paper. Your design should now be on the sticky side of the transfer paper.
- Place the tattoo design-side down onto clean, dry skin.
- Using a damp cloth or the applicator sponge, press firmly and evenly over the entire tattoo for approximately 30-60 seconds, ensuring the paper is thoroughly wet.
- Gently peel away the paper backing to reveal your temporary tattoo.

5. Maintenance
5.1. Cleaning the Printer
To ensure optimal performance, occasionally clean the printer's thermal print head. Open the printer's paper compartment and gently wipe the print head with a cotton swab lightly dampened with rubbing alcohol. Allow it to dry completely before closing the compartment.5.2. Storing Supplies
Store tattoo paper, transfer sheets, and markers in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight to preserve their quality.
6. Troubleshooting
6.1. Tattoo Not Transferring Properly
If the tattoo is still stuck to the paper after application, apply a bit more water and soak longer. Ensure firm and even pressure is applied during the soaking process.
6.2. Printer Not Connecting via Bluetooth
Ensure the printer is turned on and fully charged. Verify that Bluetooth is enabled on your mobile device and that the Hello Blink app has the necessary permissions to access Bluetooth. Try restarting both the printer and your mobile device.
6.3. Tattoo Removal
To remove a temporary tattoo, apply baby oil or olive oil to the tattoo and gently rub it off with a cloth or cotton ball.
