- Avoid Overheating: Do not cover the heater. Covering the heater can cause overheating and fire. Maintain a safe distance from walls, furniture, and curtains.
- Children and Vulnerable Persons: This appliance can be used by children aged 8 years and above and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved. Children shall not play with the appliance. Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by children without supervision.
- Placement: Do not locate the heater immediately below a socket outlet.
- Power Cord: Do not run the power cord under carpeting or cover it with throw rugs, runners, or similar coverings. Arrange cord away from traffic area and where it will not be tripped over.
- Integrated Overheat Protection: The heater is equipped with an integrated overheat protection system. If the heater overheats, it will automatically shut off. Unplug the heater, allow it to cool down, and then plug it back in. If the issue persists, contact customer support.

3. Setup and Installation
Your Thermoval convector heater can be installed in two ways: freestanding with the included feet, or wall-mounted using the provided brackets.
3.1 Freestanding Installation
- Carefully unpack the heater and all accessories.
- Attach the feet to the base of the heater using the provided screws. Ensure they are securely fastened.
- Place the heater on a stable, level surface, away from flammable materials and ensuring adequate clearance from walls.
3.2 Wall-Mounted Installation
For wall mounting, ensure the wall material is suitable to support the weight of the heater (6.3 kg for 2500W model) and use appropriate fasteners (not always included, depending on wall type).
- Identify a suitable location on the wall, ensuring it is not directly below a power outlet and maintains safe distances from other objects.
- Using the provided wall brackets as a template, mark the drilling points on the wall.
- Drill holes and insert wall plugs (if necessary).
- Securely fasten the wall brackets to the wall.
- Carefully hang the heater onto the wall brackets, ensuring it is firmly seated and level.

4. Operating Instructions
The Thermoval TX Series heater is designed for simple and intuitive operation.
4.1 Power On/Off
- Plug the power cord (1.5m length) into a suitable 230V, 50Hz electrical outlet.
- Locate the mechanical ON/OFF switch on the side of the heater. Flip the switch to the 'I' position to turn the heater ON, and to the 'O' position to turn it OFF.
4.2 Temperature Control
The heater features an electronic temperature regulator with a bimetallic thermostat for precise temperature control.
- Thermostat Dial: Use the rotary knob on the side of the heater to set your desired room temperature. The temperature range is adjustable from +7 °C to +28 °C.
- Settings: The thermostat allows for eight different temperature settings, distributing 50% to 100% of the heating power as needed to maintain the set temperature.
- Frost Protection: The heater includes a frost protection feature, which will activate if the room temperature drops too low (typically around +7 °C) to prevent freezing.

5. Maintenance
Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance and longevity of your Thermoval convector heater.
- Cleaning: Always unplug the heater from the power outlet and allow it to cool completely before cleaning. Use a soft, dry cloth to wipe the exterior surfaces. Do not use abrasive cleaners, solvents, or immerse the heater in water.
- Storage: If storing the heater for an extended period, ensure it is clean and dry. Store it in a cool, dry place, preferably in its original packaging.
- No User Serviceable Parts: This heater contains no user-serviceable parts. Do not attempt to open or repair the appliance yourself. Any servicing should be performed by qualified personnel.
6. Troubleshooting
If you encounter issues with your heater, refer to the following common problems and solutions:
- Heater does not turn on:
- Check if the power cord is securely plugged into a working electrical outlet.
- Ensure the ON/OFF switch is in the 'ON' position.
- Verify that the circuit breaker has not tripped.
- Heater turns off unexpectedly:
- The integrated overheat protection may have activated. Unplug the heater, allow it to cool down for at least 30 minutes, and ensure it is not covered or obstructed. Then plug it back in.
- Check the thermostat setting. If the room temperature reaches the set temperature, the heater will cycle off.
- Heater is not heating effectively:
- Ensure the thermostat is set to a higher temperature than the current room temperature.
- Check for drafts or open windows/doors that might be affecting the room temperature.
- Ensure the heater is appropriately sized for the room (approximately 100 W/m² efficiency).
