1. Introduction

Thank you for purchasing the USHA IR2200TCB Infrared Induction Cooktop with Grill. This appliance is designed for efficient and versatile cooking, featuring 2200 Watts of power, 11 power levels, 4 preset menus, and feather touch controls with a digital display. It is compatible with all types of utensil materials and includes a stainless steel barbecue grill for added functionality. Please read this manual thoroughly before use to ensure safe and optimal operation.

2. Important Safety Instructions

When using electrical appliances, basic safety precautions should always be followed, including the following:

• Read all instructions before operating the cooktop.
• Do not touch hot surfaces. Use handles or knobs.
• To protect against electrical shock, do not immerse cord, plugs, or the cooktop in water or other liquid.

4. Setup

4.1 Unpacking

1. Carefully remove the cooktop and all accessories from the packaging.
2. Check for any damage during transit. If damage is found, do not use the appliance and contact customer service.
3. Retain the packaging for future storage or transport.

4.2 Placement

• Place the cooktop on a stable, flat, and heat-resistant surface.
• Ensure there is adequate ventilation around the unit (at least 10 cm clearance on all sides).
• Do not place the cooktop near water sources or flammable materials.
• Ensure the power cord is not pinched or touching hot surfaces.

4.3 Power Connection

• Plug the power cord into a standard 230V AC electrical outlet.
• Ensure the outlet is properly grounded and can support the 2200W power requirement of the cooktop.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1 Utensil Compatibility

5.2 Basic Operation

1. Place a suitable cooking utensil with food on the ceramic glass surface.
2. Press the POWER button to turn on the cooktop. The digital display will illuminate.
3. Select a cooking mode:
   • Manual Mode: Use the power/temperature control knob to adjust the heating level. The cooktop offers 11 power stages for precise control.
   • Preset Menus: Press the desired preset menu button (e.g., Fry, BBQ, Soup) for quick cooking. The cooktop has 4 preset menus.
4. To adjust power/temperature in manual mode, rotate the control knob. The digital display will show the current power level or temperature.
5. To set a timer, press the TIMER button and use the control knob to set the desired cooking duration.
6. After cooking, press the POWER button to turn off the cooktop. The surface will remain hot for a period; allow it to cool down.

5.3 Using the Barbecue Grill

• Place the stainless steel barbecue grill directly onto the ceramic glass surface.
• Ensure the grill is stable before placing food on it.
• Select the "BBQ" preset menu or adjust the power manually for grilling.
• Always use heat-resistant utensils when handling food on the grill.

6. Maintenance and Cleaning

Regular cleaning and maintenance will ensure the longevity and optimal performance of your cooktop.

1. Always unplug the cooktop from the power outlet and allow it to cool completely before cleaning.
2. Ceramic Glass Surface:
   • Wipe the surface with a soft, damp cloth and mild detergent.
   • For stubborn stains, use a non-abrasive ceramic cooktop cleaner.
   • Do not use abrasive pads, scouring powders, or harsh chemicals, as these can scratch or damage the surface.
   • Dry the surface thoroughly with a clean cloth.
3. Control Panel: Wipe gently with a soft, damp cloth. Do not allow water to seep into the control panel.
4. Barbecue Grill: The stainless steel grill can be washed with warm soapy water and a non-abrasive sponge. Ensure it is completely dry before storing or reusing.
5. Exterior: Wipe the exterior body with a soft, damp cloth.
6. Do not immerse the cooktop in water or any other liquid.
