  1. Left-spinning: Rotates the laser beam counter-clockwise.
  2. Right-scanning: Rotates the laser beam clockwise.
  3. Manual/Automatic: Toggles between manual and automatic leveling modes.
  4. X-axis: Adjusts the laser line along the X-axis (for manual mode).
  5. Y-axis: Adjusts the laser line along the Y-axis (for manual mode).
  6. On/Off: Powers the device on or off.
  7. Speeding up: Increases the rotation speed of the laser.

5. Setup

5.1 Battery Installation and Charging

  1. Open the battery compartment cover.
  2. Insert the 4x 1.2V rechargeable batteries, ensuring correct polarity.
  3. Close the battery compartment cover securely.
  4. To charge, connect the power adapter to the device and a suitable power outlet. The charging indicator will illuminate.

5.2 Mounting the Device

The laser level can be mounted on a tripod or placed on a stable surface.

  • Tripod Mounting: The device features a 5/8" threaded mount on its base. Securely attach it to a compatible tripod.
  • Surface Placement: Ensure the surface is level and stable to prevent movement during operation.

6. Operation

6.1 Powering On and Self-Leveling

  1. Place the laser level on a stable surface or tripod.
  2. Press the On/Off button (6) to power on the device.
  3. In automatic mode, the device will self-level within its ±3° range. The laser beam will stabilize once leveling is complete. If the device is outside its leveling range, an alarm may sound, and the laser beam may flash. Adjust the device's position until it can self-level.

6.2 Operating Modes

  • Automatic Leveling Mode: For horizontal and vertical leveling. The device automatically compensates for minor tilts.
  • Manual Mode: Press the Manual/Automatic button (3) to switch to manual mode. In this mode, the laser can be tilted to project lines at specific angles. Use the X-axis (4) and Y-axis (5) buttons to adjust the laser line position.

6.3 Adjusting Rotation and Scanning

  • Rotation Speed: Use the Speeding up button (7) to cycle through different rotation speeds (0, 60, 120, 300, 600 rpm).
  • Directional Scanning: Press the Direction scanning button (8) to select a specific scanning angle (0°, 10°, 45°, 90°, 180°). Use the Left-spinning (1) and Right-scanning (2) buttons to adjust the direction of the scan.

6.4 Using the Laser Receiver and Remote Control

For extended working ranges up to 300m, use the laser receiver to detect the laser beam. The remote control allows for convenient adjustment of settings from a distance.
