Controls and Indicators
Familiarize yourself with the physical controls and indicators on your headphones for optimal use.

Specific button functions:
- Power Button: Press and hold for 2 seconds to power on or off.
- Volume Up/Down: Adjusts audio volume.
- Multi-function Button: Single press for play/pause or answer/end calls. Press and hold for 2 seconds to activate voice assistant or reject calls. Double-press for next track. Triple-press for previous track.
- ANC Button: Toggles between Adaptive Noise Cancellation (ANC) On, Smart Ambient, and ANC Off modes.
- LED Indicator: Displays power, charging, and Bluetooth connection status.
Setup
1. Charging the Headphones
Before initial use, fully charge your headphones. Connect the supplied USB Type-C cable to the charging port on the headphones and to a compatible USB power source.
- A full charge takes approximately 2 hours.
- A 5-minute quick charge provides approximately 5 hours of playback.
- The LED indicator will show the charging status (e.g., solid red while charging, off when fully charged).
2. Power On/Off
- To power on: Press and hold the Power button for 2 seconds. The LED indicator will light up.
- To power off: Press and hold the Power button for 2 seconds. The LED indicator will turn off.
3. Bluetooth Pairing
- Power on the headphones.
- The headphones will automatically enter pairing mode if it's the first time using them, or if no device is currently connected. The LED indicator will flash blue.
- On your device (smartphone, tablet, computer), enable Bluetooth and search for available devices.
- Select "JBL Tune 780NC" from the list of detected devices.
- Once successfully connected, the LED indicator will turn solid blue.
4. Multipoint Connection
Your JBL Tune 780NC headphones support multipoint connection, allowing you to connect to two Bluetooth devices simultaneously.
- Pair the headphones with the first device as described above.
- On the first device, temporarily disable Bluetooth.
- Pair the headphones with the second device.
- Re-enable Bluetooth on the first device. The headphones will automatically connect to both devices.
- To switch between devices, simply pause audio on one device and start playing on the other. The headphones will automatically switch the audio source.

Operating Instructions
1. Audio Playback
- Play/Pause: Press the Multi-function button once.
- Next Track: Double-press the Multi-function button.
- Previous Track: Triple-press the Multi-function button.
- Volume Control: Use the dedicated Volume Up/Down buttons.
2. Call Management
- Answer/End Call: Press the Multi-function button once.
- Reject Call: Press and hold the Multi-function button for 2 seconds.
- Activate Voice Assistant: Press and hold the Multi-function button for 2 seconds when not on a call.

3. Noise Cancellation Modes
The JBL Tune 780NC features Adaptive Noise Cancellation (ANC) and Smart Ambient modes to control your listening environment.
- Adaptive Noise Cancellation (ANC): Press the ANC button once to activate. This mode reduces external noise for an immersive listening experience.
- Smart Ambient: Press the ANC button again to switch to Smart Ambient mode. This mode allows you to hear your surroundings while still enjoying your audio, enhancing situational awareness.
- Off: Press the ANC button a third time to turn off both ANC and Smart Ambient modes.

Download the JBL Headphones App from your device's app store for additional features and customization options, including:
