5. Operating Instructions

5.1 Using the Induction Hob

  1. Power On: Touch the main power symbol to turn on the hob.
  2. Select Cooking Zone: Place an induction-compatible pan on the desired zone. Touch the corresponding zone selection control.
  3. Adjust Power: Use the '+' and '-' touch controls to set the desired power level (1-9).
  4. Booster Function: For rapid heating, touch the 'Booster' symbol for the selected zone. This provides maximum power for a short period.
  5. Stop&Go™ Function: Touch the 'Stop&Go' symbol to pause all active cooking zones. Touch it again to resume cooking with the previous settings.
  6. Timer Function: Set a cooking timer for individual zones or the entire hob using the timer controls.
  7. Power Off: Touch the main power symbol to turn off the hob. Individual zones can also be turned off by reducing their power level to '0'.

Important: The hob features a residual heat indicator (H) which remains lit until the zone has cooled down to a safe temperature.

5.2 Using the Multifunction Oven

  1. Select Cooking Function: Turn the function selector knob to choose one of the 6 available cooking programs.
  2. Set Temperature: Turn the thermostat knob to the desired temperature. The oven will begin to preheat.
  3. Preheating: Allow the oven to reach the set temperature before placing food inside. The indicator light will turn off when the temperature is reached.
  4. Place Food: Use the provided tray and metallic grid. The oven has 5 levels for flexible placement.
  5. Monitor Cooking: The internal light can be switched on to check food without opening the door.
  6. End Cooking: Turn both knobs to the 'Off' position after cooking.

Available Cooking Programs:

  • Static: Traditional top and bottom heating for even cooking.
  • Ventilated: Fan-assisted cooking for uniform heat distribution, ideal for baking multiple dishes.
  • Grill: For grilling small items, toasting, or browning.
  • Grill with Fan: Combines grilling with fan assistance for faster and more even grilling.
  • Bottom Heating: Ideal for crisping bases or slow cooking.
  • HidroClean: Special cleaning program (see Section 6.1).

6. Maintenance and Cleaning

Regular cleaning and maintenance will ensure the longevity and optimal performance of your Beko cooker.

6.1 HidroClean Function (Oven)

The HidroClean function uses steam to soften baked-on food residues, making cleaning easier.

  1. Ensure the oven is cool.
  2. Pour approximately 0.5 liters of water into the designated cavity at the bottom of the oven.
  3. Select the HidroClean program on the oven function selector.
  4. Allow the program to run for the recommended duration (refer to the full manual for exact timing).
  5. Once the program is complete and the oven has cooled, wipe the interior with a soft cloth or sponge to remove softened dirt.

6.2 General Cleaning

  • Induction Hob: Clean the glass-ceramic surface with a soft cloth and a specialized hob cleaner after each use, once the surface has cooled. Avoid abrasive cleaners or scourers.
  • Oven Interior: For stubborn stains not removed by HidroClean, use a non-abrasive oven cleaner. The inner glass of the oven door is removable for thorough cleaning.
  • Exterior Surfaces: Clean stainless steel surfaces with a soft cloth and a mild detergent or a specialized stainless steel cleaner. Avoid harsh chemicals that can damage the finish.
  • Accessories: Wash the tray and metallic grid with warm soapy water.

Caution: Always ensure the appliance is disconnected from the power supply before performing any cleaning or maintenance.

7. Troubleshooting
