1. Product Overview

This manual provides detailed instructions for the assembly, operation, and maintenance of your Jocoevol Twin Loft Bed. This multifunctional bed system integrates a sleeping area, an L-shaped desk, a pull-out folding bed, storage solutions, LED lighting, and a charging station, designed for efficient space utilization.

2. Safety Information

WARNING: Failure to follow these safety instructions may result in serious injury or death.

• Weight Limits: The upper bunk is designed to support a maximum weight of 280 lbs. The lower pull-out bed supports up to 450 lbs. Do not exceed these limits.
• Mattress Thickness: For optimal safety and effective use of guardrails, use a mattress between 4 to 6 inches (10.1 to 15.2 cm) thick for the top bunk.
• Guardrails: The upper bunk is equipped with 14-inch (35.6 cm) high guardrails. Ensure they are always securely in place.
• Anti-Tipping Device: Install the provided metal anti-tip kit to secure the loft bed frame to the wall, preventing accidental tipping.
• Rounded Edges: All edges are designed with a smooth, rounded finish to minimize injury risk.
• No Jumping: Do not allow jumping or standing on the bed structure.
• Regular Checks: Periodically inspect all bolts, screws, and connectors to ensure they remain tight and secure.
• Ladder Safety: Always use the ladder for accessing the upper bunk. Ensure the ladder is stable before climbing.

3. Package Contents

Your Jocoevol Twin Loft Bed package is shipped in two separate boxes. Please ensure all components are present before beginning assembly. If any parts are damaged or missing, contact customer support immediately.

4. Setup and Assembly

Assembly is required for this product. Follow the included installation guide and refer to the provided installation video for visual assistance. All necessary tools and clearly numbered parts are included.

Assembly Steps:

1. Unpack Components: Carefully unpack all parts and lay them out on a clean, soft surface to prevent scratches. Verify all components against the parts list in the installation guide.
2. Assemble Main Frame: Begin by assembling the main metal frame of the loft bed according to the numbered steps in the guide. Ensure all connections are finger-tight initially.
3. Install L-Shaped Desk: Attach the L-shaped desk components to the frame. Secure the shelves as indicated.
4. Integrate Pull-Out Bed: Position and attach the pull-out folding bed mechanism. Ensure the wheels are properly aligned for smooth operation.
5. Attach Safety Features: Install the guardrails for the upper bunk and the anti-tipping device to secure the bed to a wall.
6. Add Accessories: Install the clothing rod, hooks, and bedside storage pouch.
7. Final Tightening: Once all components are in place, systematically tighten all bolts and screws using the provided tools. Do not overtighten.
8. Electrical Connections: Connect the LED light strip and charging station according to the instructions. Ensure they are properly secured and cables are managed safely.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1. Pull-Out Folding Bed

The lower folding bed is designed for versatility. It can be extended sideways or forward to suit your room layout. Equipped with smooth-rolling wheels, it can be easily pulled out for use as a bed or pushed in to function as a compact sofa. The included 4-inch thick high-resiliency foam mattress provides comfort for sleeping or lounging.

5.2. L-Shaped Desk and Storage

The integrated L-shaped desk (40'' D × 34'' W) provides a spacious area for study or work. Utilize the two storage shelves for books, supplies, or decorative items. One shelf features a foldable design for flexible use.

5.3. Charging Station and LED Lights

The built-in charging station includes 2 AC outlets (120V/12A) and 2 USB ports (5V/2.1A) for convenient charging of electronic devices. The integrated LED lights provide ambient or task lighting. Refer to the specific instructions for the LED light controller for operation.

5.4. Additional Storage

Utilize the sturdy clothing rod for hanging daily wear, and the bedside storage pouch and 6 hooks for organizing smaller items, headphones, or bags.

6. Maintenance

Proper care and maintenance will extend the life and appearance of your Jocoevol Loft Bed.

1. Regular Cleaning: Use a soft, dry cloth to regularly dust all wooden and metal surfaces. For stubborn stains, lightly dampen the cloth with water or a mild, non-abrasive cleaner. Avoid harsh chemicals.
2. Mattress Care: Regularly air out the mattress to maintain freshness. Spot clean with a mild detergent as needed.
3. Structure & Hardware Check: Every two to three months, inspect all bolts, screws, and connectors. Tighten any loose hardware to ensure stability and safety.
4. LED Light Strip & Charging Station: Use a dry cloth to gently wipe the surface of the LED light strip and charging station. Do not use liquid or chemical cleaners on electrical components. Unplug devices from the charging station when not in use.
5. Storage Components: Do not exceed the recommended load capacity for the shelves, clothing rod, or hooks to prevent damage.

7. Troubleshooting

• Bed Wobbles: Ensure all assembly hardware (bolts, screws) are fully tightened. Check that the anti-tipping device is securely installed and anchored to the wall.
• Pull-Out Bed Sticks: Verify that the wheels are clean and free of debris. Ensure the track is clear and lubricated if necessary. Check for any obstructions underneath the bed.
• LED Lights Not Working: Check the power connection to the LED strip and the wall outlet. Ensure the light controller is functioning correctly.
• Charging Station Not Functioning: Confirm the power cord for the charging station is securely plugged into a working wall outlet. Test with different devices and cables.
• Missing or Damaged Parts: Refer to the package contents list. If parts are missing or damaged upon receipt, contact Jocoevol customer support for replacements.

This Jocoevol product comes with a 1-Year Manufacturer's Warranty. This warranty covers defects in materials and workmanship under normal use. It does not cover damage resulting from improper assembly, misuse, abuse, accidents, or unauthorized modifications.
