2. Compatibility

2.1 Motorcycle Compatibility

  • Designed for BMW Motorcycles: R1200GS, R1250GS, S1000XR, R1300GS.
  • Not suitable for: BMW RT series, K1600 series, and R1250 GS 2019 models.

5.1 Wireless CarPlay and Android Auto Connection

5.2 Native Wonder Wheel Control

Operate the W602BS Pro seamlessly using your BMW motorcycle's native Wonder Wheel. The functionality of the Wonder Wheel may vary depending on your BMW motorcycle model.

  • K1 (Return Button): Exit current function, return to previous level.
  • K2 (Confirm Button): Confirm to enter the current cursor function of the Wonder Wheel.

5.3 Audio Modes and Dual Bluetooth Connection

The W602BS Pro supports two audio output modes and simultaneous connection of two Bluetooth headsets/helmets.

BT Trans Mode (Dual Bluetooth):

This mode allows two Bluetooth headsets/helmets to be connected simultaneously for shared music and navigation synchronization between rider and passenger.

This mode uses your phone to connect to a single Bluetooth headset for audio playback.

  1. Ensure any previous Bluetooth connections on your headset are disconnected and cleared from the Carpuride screen.
  2. Use your phone to connect CarPlay or Android Auto to the Carpuride screen.
  3. On the Carpuride screen, go to "Audio Output" and select "iPlay/Auto" mode.

5.4 Intercom Function

The intercom function allows instant communication between rider and passenger within a 10m range.

  1. First, ensure both rider and passenger Bluetooth headsets are connected in BT Trans mode (Bluetooth 1 and Bluetooth 2).
  2. On the Carpuride screen, click the intercom icon on the homepage to enable intercom mode.
  3. You can now make intercom calls between Bluetooth 1 and 2.
  4. To disable, click the intercom icon again. Music will resume automatically.

  • Device not powering on: Ensure the device is correctly clipped into the original BMW navigation base and receiving power.
  • CarPlay/Android Auto not connecting:
    • Verify your smartphone meets the compatibility requirements (iOS 13+ for iPhone, Android 11+ with 5GHz Wi-Fi for Android).
    • Check if your phone model is listed as incompatible (e.g., some Samsung Note/S series, Huawei, Xiaomi).
