Setup

1. Battery Installation

The EC90 flashlight comes with a battery pre-installed. Before first use, you must remove the insulating film from the battery. Unscrew the tail cap, remove the battery, peel off the protective film, and reinsert the battery with the positive (+) end facing towards the head of the flashlight. Screw the tail cap back on securely.

2. Initial Charging

It is recommended to fully charge the battery before the first use to ensure optimal performance and battery longevity. Refer to the 'Charging' section for detailed instructions.

Operating Instructions

The EC90 flashlight is operated via a single side switch. Familiarize yourself with the following operations:

Power On/Off

  • Turn On: Single press the side switch.
  • Turn Off: Single press the side switch when the light is on.

Brightness Level Selection

When the flashlight is on, press and hold the side switch to cycle through brightness levels: Ultra-Low → Low → Med1 → Med2 → High. Release the switch to select the desired level. The flashlight will memorize the last used brightness level (except Turbo and Strobe).

Special Modes

  • Ultra Low Mode: From OFF, press and hold the side switch for 0.5 seconds to activate Ultra Low mode (5 lumens).
  • Turbo Mode: Double press the side switch from any state (ON or OFF) to activate Turbo mode (4300 lumens). Double press again to return to the previous mode.
  • Strobe Mode: Triple press the side switch from any state (ON or OFF) to activate Strobe mode (4300 lumens). Single press to turn off.

Lock/Unlock Function

  • Lock: From OFF, press and hold the side switch for 3 seconds. The light will flash three times, indicating it is locked.
  • Unlock: When locked, press and hold the side switch for 3 seconds. The light will flash three times and enter Ultra Low mode, indicating it is unlocked.

Charging

The EC90 features a convenient USB-C charging port. Ensure the flashlight is turned off before charging.

  1. Locate the USB-C charging port on the flashlight body.
  2. Connect the provided USB-C cable to the flashlight and plug the other end into a USB power source (e.g., wall adapter, computer, power bank).
  3. The indicator light on the switch will show the charging status:
    • Red Light: Charging in progress.
    • Green Light: Charging complete.
  4. Once fully charged, disconnect the USB-C cable.

Battery Level Indicator

The indicator light on the switch also displays the battery level when the flashlight is in use:

  • Blue Light: Battery level > 30%.
  • Red Light: Battery level 30% - 10% (low battery warning).
  • Red Flash Light: Battery level < 10% (critical battery level).

Maintenance
