Operating
1. Automatic Recording
Once powered on, the RoadEye DC04 automatically begins loop recording across all three channels (front, cabin, rear). The front camera records in 4K, while the cabin and rear cameras record in 1080P.

2. G-Sensor Emergency Recording
The built-in G-sensor detects sudden impacts or collisions. When triggered, it automatically locks the current video segment, preventing it from being overwritten by loop recording. This ensures critical incident footage is preserved.

3. 24-Hour Parking Monitoring
With an optional hardwire kit (sold separately), the dash cam can provide 24-hour parking surveillance. It detects collisions or motion while the vehicle is parked and records footage to protect your car. The G-sensor also functions in parking mode.

4. WDR Night Vision
The Sony STARVIS 2 sensor and Wide Dynamic Range (WDR) technology enhance low-light performance, providing clear footage even at night. The cabin camera also features IR night vision for interior recording in darkness.

5. Built-in GPS
The integrated GPS module records your vehicle's speed, route, and coordinates, which can be viewed during playback on the device or via the mobile app. This data can be crucial for incident evidence.

6. Wi-Fi Connectivity and Mobile App

- View live footage from all three cameras.
- Download recorded videos and photos to your smartphone.
- Adjust dash cam settings.
- Share incident videos directly from your phone.
7. Voice Prompts
The dash cam supports voice prompts for hands-free control. Commands like "Turn on Wi-Fi," "Take picture," or "Turn on audio" can be used to control specific functions without touching the device.

8. Time-Lapse Recording
Time-lapse recording allows the dash cam to continuously record at a lower frame rate, consuming less storage space while still capturing extended periods of activity, particularly useful for parking surveillance.

Maintenance
1. MicroSD Card Management
- Formatting: Regularly format the MicroSD card (at least once a month) within the dash cam's settings to prevent data corruption and ensure smooth operation.
- Replacement: MicroSD cards have a limited lifespan. Replace the card if you notice recording errors or degraded performance.
- Recommended Cards: Use high-endurance Class 10, U3 MicroSD cards from reputable brands.
2. Cleaning the Lenses and Screen
Gently wipe the camera lenses and the LCD screen with a soft, lint-free cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents, as they may damage the surfaces.
