- For optimal reception, ensure the speaker is in an open area.
3. Maintenance
3.1 Cleaning
- Wipe the speaker with a soft, damp cloth.
- Do not use abrasive cleaners, alcohol, or chemical solvents, as these may damage the surface.
- Ensure all port covers are securely closed before cleaning with a damp cloth or exposing to water.
3.2 Water Resistance (IPX7)
The Vieta Pro Sun 2 is IPX7 rated, meaning it can be submerged in water up to 1 meter (3 feet) for up to 30 minutes. This makes it suitable for use in showers, by the pool, or at the beach.
- Always ensure the rubber flap covering the charging and input ports is securely closed before exposing the speaker to water.
- Do not expose the speaker to saltwater or other chemicals, as this may degrade the water resistance over time. Rinse with fresh water if exposed to such substances.
- Do not charge the speaker if it or the charging port is wet. Ensure it is completely dry before connecting the charging cable.
