  • Mechanism: Periodically check all bolts and screws to ensure they are tight. Lubricate moving parts if necessary with a silicone-based lubricant (do not use oil-based lubricants).
  • Sunlight: Avoid prolonged exposure to direct sunlight to prevent fading of the fabric.

6. Troubleshooting

If you encounter any issues with your recliner, refer to the following common problems and solutions.

  • Recliner not engaging/disengaging smoothly:
Solution: Check for any obstructions around the mechanism. Ensure all assembly bolts are tightened correctly. A small amount of silicone lubricant can be applied to moving parts if they feel stiff.
  • Chair feels unstable or wobbly:
Solution: Re-tighten all assembly hardware, especially those connecting the base and backrest. Ensure the chair is on a flat, even surface.
  • Rocking/Swivel mechanism is stiff:
Solution: Ensure the chair is not placed on thick carpet that might obstruct the base. Check for any debris in the swivel mechanism. Lubricate with a silicone-based spray if needed.
