Setup

Battery and Charger

The Axial SCX10 III Coyote requires a compatible battery and charger, which are not included in the package. Please refer to the manufacturer's recommendations for suitable battery types (e.g., LiPo or NiMH) and charging procedures. Always use a charger compatible with your battery type and follow all safety guidelines during charging.

Body Removal and Battery Installation

To access the internal components and install the battery, the truck body must be removed. The body is secured by four body pins. Carefully remove these pins to lift the body off the chassis. The truck features a forward-mount battery tray, allowing for easy installation and adjustment of weight distribution. Secure the battery firmly in the tray using the provided straps.

Transmitter Setup

Your SCX10 III Coyote comes with a Spektrum SLT2 2-Channel SLT Radio. Ensure the transmitter has fresh AA batteries installed. The transmitter features controls for throttle trim, steering trim, and dual rates, allowing for fine-tuning of your vehicle's response. Familiarize yourself with these controls before operation.

Operating Your SCX10 III Coyote

Water Resistance
