Setup

  1. Unpacking: Carefully remove the coffee machine and all accessories from the packaging. Retain packaging for future transport or storage.
  2. Initial Cleaning: Before first use, wash the water tank and drip tray with warm soapy water, then rinse thoroughly. Wipe the exterior of the machine with a damp cloth.
  3. Filling the Water Tank:
    • Remove the water tank from the back of the machine.
    • Fill the tank with fresh, cold drinking water up to the MAX level. Do not exceed 0.5 liters.
    • Place the water tank back onto the machine, ensuring it is securely seated.
  4. First Use / Priming:
    • Plug the machine into a grounded power outlet (220-240V).
    • Place a large cup or container under the coffee spout.
    • Press any coffee selection button (short, long, or double) without a capsule inserted. The machine will start pumping water to prime the system. Repeat this process 2-3 times until water flows smoothly from the spout. This removes air from the system and cleans internal components.
    • The machine is now ready for use.

Operating Instructions

  1. Power On: Ensure the machine is plugged in and the water tank is filled. The machine will automatically turn on when plugged in, or if it has an on/off button, press it. The indicator lights will flash during heating and become steady when ready.
  2. Prepare Your Cup: Place your desired cup or mug on the drip tray. You can adjust the cup holder to two positions to accommodate different cup heights.
  3. Insert Capsule: Lift the lever to open the capsule compartment. Insert a Nespresso compatible capsule into the compartment. Close the lever firmly until it clicks.

  6. Power Off: The machine may have an auto-off function after a period of inactivity. To manually turn off, press and hold the power button (if available) or unplug the machine.

Maintenance

Regular cleaning and maintenance will ensure the longevity and optimal performance of your coffee machine.

  • Daily Cleaning:
    • Empty and rinse the drip tray and used capsule container daily.
    • Wipe the exterior of the machine with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
  • Water Tank Cleaning: Clean the water tank regularly with warm soapy water and rinse thoroughly.
  • Descaling: Over time, mineral deposits (limescale) can build up in the machine, affecting performance. Descale your machine every 3-6 months, or more frequently if you have hard water.
    • Use a descaling solution specifically designed for coffee machines. Follow the instructions provided with the descaling product.
    • Typically, this involves filling the water tank with the descaling solution, running the solution through the machine, rinsing the tank, and then running several cycles of fresh water through the machine to remove any residue.
  • Dishwasher Safety: The machine components are NOT dishwasher safe. Wash all removable parts by hand.
