Maintenance
Regular cleaning and maintenance will ensure the longevity and optimal performance of your coffee machine.
- Daily Cleaning:
- Empty and rinse the drip tray and used capsule container daily.
- Wipe the exterior of the machine with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
- Water Tank Cleaning: Clean the water tank regularly with warm soapy water and rinse thoroughly.
- Descaling: Over time, mineral deposits (limescale) can build up in the machine, affecting performance. Descale your machine every 3-6 months, or more frequently if you have hard water.
- Use a descaling solution specifically designed for coffee machines. Follow the instructions provided with the descaling product.
- Typically, this involves filling the water tank with the descaling solution, running the solution through the machine, rinsing the tank, and then running several cycles of fresh water through the machine to remove any residue.
- Dishwasher Safety: The machine components are NOT dishwasher safe. Wash all removable parts by hand.
