Front Panel Controls:

• 2.4" TFT Color Display: Shows station information, menus, and settings.

Setup

1. Power Connection

1. Connect the provided power adapter to the DC input port on the rear of the radio.
2. Plug the power adapter into a wall outlet.
3. Press the left rotary knob to power on the radio.

2. Antenna Setup

For optimal DAB+ and FM reception, fully extend the telescopic antenna located on the rear of the device. Adjust its position for the best signal quality.

3. Initial Wi-Fi Setup

Upon first power-on, the radio will guide you through the initial setup wizard, including Wi-Fi configuration for Internet Radio and Spotify Connect functionality.

1. Follow the on-screen prompts on the 2.4" TFT display.
2. Select your preferred language.
3. The radio will scan for available Wi-Fi networks. Select your network from the list.
4. Enter your Wi-Fi password using the rotary knob and buttons. Alternatively, if your router supports WPS, you may use the WPS function for a quicker connection.
5. Once connected, the radio will confirm the network connection.

Operating Instructions

Mode Selection

Press the MODE button repeatedly to cycle through available modes: Internet Radio, DAB+, FM, Bluetooth, and Spotify Connect.

Internet Radio

Access thousands of global radio stations and podcasts via your Wi-Fi connection.

1. Select Internet Radio mode.
2. Use the right rotary knob to browse stations by location, genre, or search.
3. Press the right rotary knob to select a station.
4. To save a station as a favorite, press and hold the FAV button.

DAB+ Radio

Enjoy high-quality digital radio broadcasts.

1. Select DAB+ mode. The radio will automatically scan for available stations.
2. Use the right rotary knob to scroll through the list of stations.

FM Radio

Tune into traditional analog FM broadcasts.

1. Select FM mode.

Bluetooth Connectivity

1. Select Bluetooth mode on the radio. The display will show "Pairing".
2. On your external device (smartphone, tablet), enable Bluetooth and search for "MEDION IRE-1".
3. Select "MEDION IRE-1" to pair. Once connected, you can stream audio from your device to the radio.

Spotify Connect

Control your Spotify music directly from the Spotify app on your smartphone or tablet, playing it through the radio.

1. Ensure your radio and the device running the Spotify app are connected to the same Wi-Fi network.
2. Open the Spotify app on your smartphone or tablet.
3. Play a song and tap the "Devices Available" icon (usually a speaker or computer icon).
4. Select "MEDION IRE-1" from the list of available devices. The music will now play through your radio.

Alarm and Sleep Timer

The radio features a dual alarm function and a sleep timer.

• Setting Alarms: Press the Snooze/Alarm button to access alarm settings. Use the rotary knob to set time, source (buzzer, Internet Radio, DAB+, FM), and frequency.
• Sleep Timer: Access the sleep timer function via the menu. Set a duration after which the radio will automatically turn off.

Display Settings
