6. Cooking Guide
The following are general guidelines for air frying. Cooking times and temperatures may vary based on food quantity, size, and desired crispness.
- Preheating: For best results, preheat the air fryer for 3-5 minutes at the desired cooking temperature before adding food.
- Oil Usage: While the air fryer requires minimal to no oil, a light spray or toss with oil can enhance crispness and flavor for some foods.
- Shaking/Tossing: For even cooking, especially with smaller items like fries or nuggets, shake the basket halfway through the cooking time.
- Batch Cooking: Avoid overcrowding the basket. Cook in smaller batches if necessary to ensure proper air circulation and even cooking.
- Food Types: Suitable for frying, grilling, baking, and roasting various foods including vegetables, meats, poultry, fish, and baked goods.
7. Cleaning and Maintenance
Regular cleaning ensures optimal performance and extends the lifespan of your air fryer.
- Always unplug the air fryer and allow it to cool completely before cleaning.
- The detachable fryer basket and steam rack are dishwasher safe. Alternatively, wash them with hot water, dish soap, and a non-abrasive sponge.
- Wipe the exterior of the air fryer with a damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or scouring pads.
- Clean the interior of the appliance with a damp cloth. If necessary, use a mild detergent.
- Ensure all parts are thoroughly dry before storing or reusing the air fryer.
