3. Setup
3.1. Powering the Device
Your boombox can be powered by either AC mains or batteries.
AC Power
- Ensure the boombox is placed on a stable, flat surface.
- Connect the supplied AC power cord to the AC IN socket on the back of the boombox.
- Plug the other end of the AC power cord into a wall outlet.
Battery Power
For portable use, the boombox can operate on 6 x R14 (C size) batteries (not included).
- Open the battery compartment cover on the bottom of the unit.

4. Operating Instructions
4.1. CD Playback
- Press the POWER button to turn on the boombox.
- Press the MENU (MODE) button repeatedly until 'CD' mode is selected.
- Open the CD compartment cover by gently lifting it.
- Place a CD (CD, CD-R, or MP3-CD) with the label side facing up onto the spindle.
- Close the CD compartment cover. The CD will begin playing automatically.
- Use the PLAY/PAUSE, STOP, SKIP FORWARD/BACKWARD buttons to control playback.
- To program tracks, press the PROG/PRESET button during stop mode and follow the on-screen instructions.

- To auto-scan and save stations, press and hold the PROG/PRESET button. The boombox will scan and store available stations.
