1. Introduction

2. Product Overview

The SoundPEATS UU2 Open-Ear Earphones feature a U-shaped ear cuff design that clips securely onto your ear, providing a stable fit without entering the ear canal. Each earbud weighs approximately 4.73 grams, ensuring comfort during extended use.

3. Setup

3.1 Charging the Earphones and Case

Before first use, fully charge the earphones and the charging case.

1. Place the earphones into the charging case, ensuring the charging contacts align.
2. Close the charging case lid.
3. Connect the charging case to a USB power adapter (not included) or a computer's USB port using the provided USB-C charging cable.
4. The indicator lights on the case will show the charging status. Once fully charged, the lights will indicate completion or turn off.

A full charge provides up to 42 hours of total playback time with the charging case.

3.2 Initial Pairing

1. Open the charging case. The earphones will automatically enter pairing mode, and the indicator light on one earbud will flash.
2. Enable Bluetooth on your device (e.g., smartphone, tablet).
3. Select "SOUNDPEATS UU2" from the list of available Bluetooth devices.
4. If prompted, confirm the pairing. You will hear an audio prompt indicating successful connection.

3.3 Multipoint Connection

The SoundPEATS UU2 supports connecting to two devices simultaneously.

1. Pair the earphones with the first device as described in "3.2 Initial Pairing".
2. Disable Bluetooth on the first device. The earphones will re-enter pairing mode.
3. Pair the earphones with the second device.
4. Re-enable Bluetooth on the first device. The earphones should automatically connect to both devices.

3.4 SoundPEATS App

Download the dedicated SoundPEATS app from your device's app store. The app allows for firmware updates, equalizer adjustments, adaptive EQ, and other customizable settings, including activating LDAC codec for compatible devices.

4. Operating Instructions

4.1 Power On/Off

• Power On: Open the charging case, or press and hold the physical button on both earbuds for 1.5 seconds.
• Power Off: Place the earphones back into the charging case and close the lid. Alternatively, press and hold the physical button on both earbuds for 10 seconds.

4.2 Music Control

• Play/Pause: Single press the physical button on either the Left (L) or Right (R) earbud.
• Next Track: Double press the physical button on the Right (R) earbud.
• Previous Track: Double press the physical button on the Left (L) earbud.
• Volume Up: Triple press the physical button on the Right (R) earbud.
• Volume Down: Triple press the physical button on the Left (L) earbud.

4.3 Call Control

• Answer/End Call: Single press the physical button on either the L or R earbud.
• Reject Call: Press and hold the physical button on either the L or R earbud for 1.5 seconds.

4.4 Voice Assistant

• Activate Voice Assistant: Press and hold the physical button on the Left (L) earbud for 1.5 seconds.

4.5 Game Mode / Low Latency Mode

Game Mode, which reduces audio latency, can be activated and managed through the SoundPEATS dedicated app.

Proper maintenance ensures the longevity and optimal performance of your SoundPEATS UU2 earphones.

• Cleaning: Regularly clean the earphones, especially the charging contacts, with a soft, dry, lint-free cloth. Do not use harsh chemicals or abrasive materials.
• Storage: When not in use, store the earphones in their charging case to protect them from dust and damage.
• Temperature: Avoid exposing the earphones to extreme temperatures (hot or cold) or direct sunlight for prolonged periods.
• Liquids: Keep the earphones away from water and other liquids. While they may have some water resistance, direct immersion can cause damage.

If you encounter issues with your earphones, refer to the following common solutions:

• Earphones not pairing:
  • Ensure the earphones are charged.
  • Verify Bluetooth is enabled on your device.
  • Make sure the earphones are within the Bluetooth range (typically 10 meters).
  • Try resetting the earphones by placing them in the charging case, closing the lid, and then opening it again to re-enter pairing mode.
• No sound or low volume:
  • Check the volume levels on both your earphones and your connected device.
  • Ensure the earphones are correctly positioned on your ears.
  • Confirm that the earphones are connected to the correct audio output on your device.
• Poor sound quality:
  • Ensure there are no obstructions between your device and the earphones.
  • If using LDAC, ensure your device supports it and it is enabled in the SoundPEATS app.
  • Adjust equalizer settings in the SoundPEATS app if necessary.
• One earbud not working:
  • Place both earbuds back into the charging case, close the lid, and then take them out again to force a re-connection.
  • If the issue persists, try resetting the earphones and re-pairing them with your device.
