Important Safeguards

- Always attach plug to appliance first, then plug cord into the wall outlet. To disconnect, turn any control to “off”, then remove plug from wall outlet.

Setup and First Use
- Unpack: Carefully remove all components from the packaging.
- Clean: Wash the nonstick removable pot, glass lid, measuring cup, and rice paddle with warm, soapy water. Rinse thoroughly and dry. Wipe the exterior of the rice cooker base with a soft, damp cloth.
- Placement: Place the rice cooker on a stable, heat-resistant surface away from water.
Operating Instructions
Cooking Rice and Grains
- Measure Ingredients: Use the included measuring cup to measure your desired amount of dry grain. Refer to the Grain Cooking Chart below for recommended grain-to-water ratios.
- Add to Pot: Place the measured grain into the nonstick removable pot. Add the appropriate amount of water.
- Insert Pot: Place the nonstick removable pot into the rice cooker base.
- Secure Lid: Place the glass lid securely on top of the pot.
- Plug In: Plug the power cable into a standard electrical outlet. The 'Warm' indicator light will illuminate.
- Start Cooking: Press the 'Cook' lever down. The 'Cook' indicator light will illuminate.
- Automatic Keep Warm: Once cooking is complete, the 'Cook' lever will automatically flip up, and the 'Warm' indicator light will illuminate, keeping your food at an optimal serving temperature.
- Serve: Use the rice paddle to fluff and serve your cooked grains.
