This image demonstrates the Hcalory TS-M with its magnetic macro lens attached to the rear. The display shows a comparison of thermal images, highlighting the enhanced detail provided by the 5x magnification of the macro lens compared to 1x without it, useful for pinpoint accuracy on small components.
6. Operating Instructions
6.1 Power On/Off
Press and hold the power button (usually marked with a circle and a vertical line) to turn the device on or off.
6.2 Thermal Imaging Mode
Upon powering on, the device typically defaults to thermal imaging mode. The screen will display a thermal image of the environment. Use the navigation buttons (up, down, left, right, OK) to access menus and adjust settings such as color palettes, emissivity, and temperature units.

Figure 6.1: Thermal Imaging in Use
The image shows a user holding the Hcalory TS-M, with its screen displaying a thermal image of an engine. This illustrates the device's capability to provide immediate visual temperature data, aiding in quick problem diagnosis.
6.2.1 TISR Resolution Enhancement
The Hcalory TS-M features TISR (Thermal Imaging Super Resolution) technology, enhancing the thermal image resolution to 240x240 pixels for greater clarity. This feature can typically be toggled on or off via the device's menu settings to suit different inspection needs.

Figure 6.2: TISR Resolution Comparison
This image demonstrates the impact of TISR technology. On the left, a thermal image with TISR enabled shows a resolution of 240x240, providing significantly more detail. On the right, the same scene with TISR off displays a lower resolution of 64x64, highlighting the clarity improvement offered by the enhanced resolution feature.
6.3 Multimeter Mode
To switch to multimeter mode, use the mode selection button or navigate through the menu. Once in multimeter mode, select the desired measurement function (e.g., AC Voltage, DC Voltage, Resistance, Continuity, Diode Test) using the function dial or buttons. Connect the test leads to the circuit under test as appropriate for the selected function.
