  5. Once connected, you can unplug the extender and relocate it to a desired area within your home where you need improved WiFi coverage. Ensure the signal strength indicator on the extender shows a good connection to your main router.

2.2. Web Browser Method

  1. Plug the WiFi Extender into an electrical outlet near your main router.
  2. Connect your computer or mobile device to the extender's default WiFi network (e.g., "Hyzom_Extender" or similar, usually found on a label on the device). No password is required for the initial connection.
  3. Open a web browser and enter the default IP address or domain name (e.g., 192.168.1.1 or repeater.net) provided in the quick start guide or on the device label.
  4. Follow the on-screen instructions to select your main WiFi network and enter its password.
  5. Create a new network name (SSID) and password for your extended network, or choose to use the same as your main network.
  6. Complete the setup. The extender will restart. Once restarted, you can unplug and relocate the extender.
