- Prepare the Bag: Place the food item inside a vacuum sealer bag, leaving at least 2-3 inches of space between the food and the open end of the bag. Ensure the open end is clean, dry, and flat.
- Position the Bag: Open the lid of the vacuum sealer. Place the open end of the bag into the vacuum chamber, ensuring it lies flat across the sealing strip and within the vacuum channel.
- Close the Lid: Press down firmly on both ends of the lid until you hear two distinct "clicks," indicating the latches are secured.
- Select Mode: Choose the appropriate mode:
- Dry Mode: For dry food items (e.g., nuts, grains, dried fruits).
- Moist Mode: For moist or juicy food items (e.g., raw meat, marinated foods).
- Start Vacuum & Seal: Press the "Vac Seal" button. The appliance will automatically vacuum the air out of the bag and then seal it. The digital timer will count down the process.
- Release: Once the process is complete and the indicator light turns off, press the release buttons (if applicable) or lift the lid to open. Carefully remove the sealed bag.

- Close the Lid: Press down firmly on both ends of the lid until it clicks.
- Start Sealing: Press the "Seal" button. The appliance will heat the sealing strip to create a seal.
- Release: Once the sealing process is complete, open the lid and remove the sealed bag.
3. External Vacuuming (for Canisters, Jars, and Wine Stoppers)

- Connect Hose: Insert one end of the external air suction hose into the external vacuum port on the appliance.
- Connect to Container: Attach the other end of the hose to the port on your vacuum-compatible canister, jar, or wine stopper.

- Position Roll: Pull out the desired length of bag material from the roll.
- Cut: Slide the cutter across the bag material to create a straight cut. Ensure the cutter starts on the plastic and not from the very edge for a clean cut.

5. Moist and Dry Modes
The appliance offers two distinct modes to optimize vacuum sealing for different food types:
- Dry Mode: Designed for foods without liquid content, such as nuts, cereals, cheese, and dried meats. This mode ensures a quick and strong vacuum.
- Moist Mode: Suitable for foods with some moisture, like raw or simmered meats, fruits, and vegetables. This mode adjusts the vacuum and sealing time to prevent liquids from interfering with the seal.
Food Preservation Guidelines
Vacuum sealing significantly extends the shelf life of various foods by removing oxygen, which causes spoilage. Refer to the table below for general guidelines:
| Food Type | Room Temperature (Unsealed) | Our Vacuum Sealer (Room Temp) | VAC + Freezer / Fridge |
|---|---|---|---|
| Meat | 2-3 Days | 8-9 Days | 12 Months |
| Seafood | 1-3 Days | 4-6 Days | 12 Months |
| Vegetables | 3-5 Days | 7-10 Days | 12-40 Months |
| Fruits | 5-7 Days | 14-20 Days | 40-56 Days |
| Bread | 1-2 Days | 3-8 Days | 10-20 Months |
Note: These are general guidelines. Actual preservation times may vary depending on the freshness of the food, preparation methods, and storage conditions. Always follow food safety guidelines.

Cleaning and Maintenance
Regular cleaning and maintenance will ensure the longevity and optimal performance of your vacuum sealer.
- Always Unplug: Before cleaning, ensure the appliance is unplugged from the power outlet.
- Exterior Cleaning: Wipe the exterior of the appliance with a damp cloth and mild soap. Do not use abrasive cleaners or immerse the unit in water.
- Vacuum Chamber: Clean the vacuum chamber and sealing foam gaskets with a damp cloth. Ensure no food particles or liquids are present, as this can affect sealing performance. Dry thoroughly.
- Sealing Strip: Gently wipe the sealing strip with a dry cloth. Do not use sharp objects or abrasive materials on the sealing strip.
- Storage: Store the appliance in a dry, cool place with the lid unlatched to prevent compression of the foam gaskets, which can lead to poor sealing over time.
- Gasket Replacement: If the sealing foam gasket becomes worn or damaged, replace it with the provided extra gasket or an authorized replacement part.
Troubleshooting
If you encounter issues with your vacuum sealer, refer to the following table for common problems and solutions:
| Problem | Possible Cause | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| Appliance does not turn on | No power connection | Ensure power cord is securely plugged into the appliance and a working electrical outlet. |
| Bag does not vacuum properly | Lid not properly latched; Bag not positioned correctly; Gaskets are dirty or worn; Bag has a hole or is not a vacuum sealer bag. | Press down firmly on both sides of the lid until it clicks. Reposition the bag so the open end is flat within the vacuum chamber. Clean or replace gaskets. Inspect bag for damage; use only approved vacuum sealer bags. |
| Bag does not seal | Sealing strip is dirty or wet; Bag contains too much moisture; Sealing strip is overheated. | Clean and dry the sealing strip. For moist foods, use Moist mode or pre-freeze liquids. Allow the appliance to cool down for a few minutes between seals if performing multiple operations. |
| Air leaks into bag after sealing | Seal is incomplete; Food item has sharp edges; Bag was overfilled. | Ensure the bag was properly positioned and sealed. Pad sharp food items with a paper towel. Leave adequate space (at least 2-3 inches) between food and seal. |
| Cutter not working effectively | Cutter blade is dull or misaligned; Incorrect cutting technique. | Ensure the cutter is properly seated. Start the cut on the plastic material, not from the very edge, and slide smoothly. |
